They have been approved by the Celiac Sprue Association and have received special training. I didn’t even know this was a thing! So I was pleasantly surprised. The pizza was great! I also had the stuffed mushrooms. Soooo good. All items that are NOT gf are marked on the menu as unsafe, so there are actually many items that we can have. It was such a wonderful place to eat. I look forward to my next visit.

Really good pizza and a lot of surprising gluten free options! Gluten free food is prepped on separate equipment and comes out on wax paper so you can tell the difference between the regular gluten-containing crusts.

Did I get sick, no. However, the food was truly terrible. The "cheese bread" is an Udi's sandwich roll with sliced cheese on it. Fine. The pizza came still on it's protective paper from the oven. The dough was so undercooked, it was like eating Elmer's glue. Waitress and manager were knowledgable (manager brought out the gluten free pizza), service was good, just a bad gluten free crust being cooked incorrectly.

I ordered the garlic cheesy bread for an appetizer, and it was delicious! The gluten free crust was a little thicker than most I’ve had, but sadly it was very underdone and doughy.

Beau Jos is amazing. It was my favorite pizza before I got diagnosed, and I was THRILLED to see that they have GF options. Although they don’t have a separate kitchen, they are accredited by the Celiac Sprue Association and take cross contam precautions very seriously. Their menu is gluten free by default, and only things that *can’t* be made gluten free are marked (like we’re the normal ones)!

I’ve eaten here three times, never been sick, and left just glowing with joy every single time. Beau Jos is doing it right 🥰

One of the best gluten free crusts we’ve had. It was chewy in a good way and baked until golden (rather than charred like many other crust experiences we’ve had). Very impressed. NOTE: We are gluten intolerant not celiac (severe eczema from ingestion). There is absolutely cross contamination.

Amazing gluten free pizza crust! Pricey but worth it. They don’t have dedicated space but they were willing to change gloves, get out new ingredients for me and ensured my pizza didn’t touch other surfaces including putting it on something in the oven. I felt great after and would eat here again.

Amazing awesome excellent crust on the pizza. 🥰 the Italy pizza with Beau Jo’s sauce was fantastic. They have Omission Lager (woot) great staff attention and seemed very careful and confident with the safe cooking of our order. Applause all around.

I grew up eating Beu Jo's pizza and absolutely love their food. Now GF (Either celiac or highly sensitive, awaiting results), not so much. I had their Pesto Chicken pizza with the cauliflower crust and even notified the waitress of my situation, but still had a reaction and did not digest the food.

Unfortunately this place is not safe if you have Celiac. Cross contamination risk is very high. I ate there this weekend per a recommendation and I became very ill despite assurances from the waitress that they would take precautions.

NOT celiac friendly. I ordered the italian turkey sandwich gluten free and told the waitress that I needed to be strictly gluten free. She was very nice and seemed knowledgeable and said they would change their gloves and use a clean knife and prepare it on clean area with parchment paper. Unfortunately when I got the sandwich and tested a sample of each ingredient and bread with my Nima Sensor, it found gluten. The waitress was very sorry and explained the this is a very busy Buea Jo's and depending on the staff in the kitchen it can be hard to guarantee a gluten free meal. They did not charge for my sandwich. I gave 2 stars for the friendly waitress but I would not recommend a celiac eat here.

Ate here last night - the ~25min wait was worth it. My husband & I had the GF garlic bread, stuffed mushrooms, and then split the GF pesto chicken pizza. The garlic bread is an entire sub cut in half - huge portion!The GF food is prepared separately and comes out MUCH FASTER than the regular pies. We had our food & finished eating within 35mins and the surrounding tables didn't have their pizzas yet. GF for the win! And no reactions what-so-ever!

Hands down the best gluten free pizza I have eaten! I had the 'Lil Italy. From their menu & website I feel like they do a better job of any pizza joint with gluten & gf pizza to prevent cc. I only ate here because of the other Celiac reviews. I would have given 5 starts, but I feel there is still a risk of cc, but lower than most pizza places.

I was afraid to try pizza at a new place since I'm on a road trip so I didn't eat it til we got back to our hotel but when I did eat it... omg! Its the best gf pizza hands down and they did an excellent job with the cross contamination. I am very sensitive and didn't get sick. Major kuddos to this wonderful establishment. I highly recommend trying this.

Amazing! I have celiac *and* a severe wheat allergy. I know within 4-5 minutes if something has wheat or has been cross-contaminated. This place rocks! I ate chicken strips and a pizza and I'm feeling fantastic! I wish we lived in the area - I'd eat here all the time! Just passing through on a road trip. I recommend this place unreservedly.

Travelling cross country, we were in Colorado looking for a place for dinner where my daughter and I could eat (both celiac) Found Beau Jo's - fantastic! GF pizza was wonderful, salad bar was excellent and the staff was very helpful and answering our questions. Great experience all the way around.

I have to admit that I was a little disappointed after reading all the great reviews. As a Colorado native I have always loved Beau Jo's, even though I'm not usually one for thick crusts - dipping the crusts in honey makes the thick crust worth it, and it's really only thick around the edges...delicious! After reading all the awesome reviews, I expected to have a pizza that was at least similar to their regular pizza, but the crust was very thin and crispy and was practically dripping in oil. It tasted ok, but was certainly not the Beau Jo's experience I was hoping for. I still dipped my crusts, it just wasn't anywhere near the same. :( Maybe I ordered the wrong kind of pizza, though? I'm still giving 4 stars, because the service was awesome, they seemed knowledgeable about gluten free, and they had quite a few gluten free options on the menu (even aside from pizza). I will definitely try again, and maybe next time I'll ask if there is a thicker gluten free crust option. It was just kind of a bummer watching all my friends enjoy their thick, bready crusts with honey while I basically had an oily cracker with honey. If you go, you'll likely be happy as long as you don't have the expectation that it will truly be a Beau Jo's pizza.

In 2018 we ate at the Idaho Springs location and I swear they had fresh made GF neapolitan style crust. We returned to this location and had frozen pizza crust - that was good, but nothing like my memory of the Idaho Springs pizza. I checked out the Idaho Springs recent photos and they are using the same frozen crust. It's fluffy and good, but not hand made neapolitan. Maybe the handmade crust went away with covid. They also had a note on the menu in the window what they are charging a resturant recovery fee for every order.
