Would have had 5 stars if the curry sauce was gluten free! Great onion rings and lovely customer service. Not the cheapest fish and chips but it is in the centre of town and there’s plenty of seating :-)

I'm Coeliac. The staff said everything on the menu but thd burgers can be nake GF. The only ketchup is in packages that have been handled by staff (who also cook the regular items). The GF batter on the fish and onion rings is very thick & crunchy, and tiring to eat. Once I peeled away the batter on my fish, I found 9 bones in a tiny spot. I stopped looking. Would not recommend.

Great gluten free batter on calamari and fish that looked the same as others. Crunchy chips were delicious as were the mushy peas! Highly recommend for a quick casual meal.

3 of us are celiac. We had the GF battered cod, haddock, and chicken each of which came with chips. I asked to confirm their GF fryer is separate.

Excellent spot. Counter service. GF fish and chips were great. Batter was fairly similar to regular. Couldn’t tell the difference. Small area for outdoor and downstairs seating. Large area upstairs for additional tables and bigger groups.

Food came back with gluten and they admitted there was nothing they could do to avoid cross contamination. Staff was very nice about it all.

This place is not celiac friendly, i got one of the worst reactions in my life after eating there, after staff assured me that its 100% gluten free!

I’ve eaten here many times with absolutely no issues the staff are all clued in and they have a separate fryer for gluten free things! The fish is gorgeous but as a regular I also recommend the chicken breast if you fancy something different! The onion rings can be hit or miss I’ve had them sometimes and they’ve been amazing and others they’ve been disappointing but one of my favorite places to eat!
Yes
Lovely food with nice options! Didn’t wait long and all the waiters knew what was gluten free and what was not gluten-free! So good job!

Fantastic! Dedicated fryers, lovely onion rings and chips along with lots of other options. Never been sick after it:-)

Pretty sure I was glutened here last night. Not a happy camper
This was my first time having fish and chips and it was great! No cross contamination and the food was reasonably priced and delicious. It has a fast food vibe for a quick meal.
Update:
I came here a second to time and explained I had celiac disease and the three people behind the counter did not know what that was and apologized and then I stood there not sure what to do because the last time was so easy and I was caught off guard. I said I had to be gluten free and they said they have all gluten free options. I am waiting for my meal and I am very nervous now. This was a bizarre second experience and I will update a final time after I've had time to determine if the food is safe again.
Dedicated fryers and knowledgeable staff. Not the greatest fish and chips but we ate worry-free!
Delighted that all types of fish are available gluten-free, and there is no additional charge. That said, my fish and chips were a bit bland, the cole slaw a bit heavy. Cute place.

Delicious fish and chips. Separate fryer and have gf vinegar and good food and drink options
Yes
Lovely gluten free fish and chips! Would recommend. Lovely little restaurant. Be aware of ketchup as it says contains barley malt vinegar. I ate it without realising and panicked but I checked online etc and it's actually fine and says its safe for ceoliac as the gluten count is so so low. I was not sick or anything and googled the brand of the ketchup which also said it was fine
Yes
Great food, very knowledgeable about gluten free and careful with order. They also brought out GF vinegar without me asking.
Yes
Confirmed they’ve a dedicated fryer for the fish, and the fries are only fried with fries, so no cross-contaminants there. They also have GF vinegar if that’s your preferred way to eat the fish/chips.
Yes
Cute restaurant which stated they had GF fish and chips. It was delicious but I didn’t feel great afterwards....perhaps travel/jet lag related, but be aware and ask questions!
Yes
The very best gluten free fish and chips I’ve ever tasted - fresh crispy and all I kept saying after every bite was, “Wow!”
Yes
Pluses are that they are clearly set up with separate fryers, signage, etc to accommodate celiacs, pretty quick to order at counter and go sit in large upstairs dining area with food brought out to you within 5-10 minutes, and best of all, cod was delicious and fried perfectly and lightly. Minuses are that it’s pretty expensive for what they offer, the whole place was sort of dirty, not many choices — at all — if you don’t want fish and chips, and most disappointingly, the GF chips and onion rings were not good at all. Chips are really thick-cut wedge-style fries—ours were mushy without any crispness to the outside—and onion rings were greasy. For a family with 4 teenage boys who usually polish off everything on all plates, the fact that we had fries left on plates as we left sorta says it all!
Yes
THEY HAVE GF ONION RINGS!!!!! My mother and I just stared at each other in bliss as we demolished them! Fish is lovely and fresh, good chips too, but the onion rings were the stand out....
Always good when I can have gf fried fish. I thought the food was better prepared at their Mespil St location though.
Great GF fish and chips. They were knowledgeable about which sauces had gluten and brought me gf vinegar.
Yes
The gluten free battered fish was nice but the chips were horrible! They were completely over-fried! I could barely eat them but the fish was very good. Bit expensive for the quality though,(in my opinion)

If you want to try fish and chips but are allergic to gluten this is a great place to do so in Dublin! (I found out I am not a fan of fish and chips)
