I’ve ordered BJ’s pizza many times. Their GF pizza is really expensive, but I’ve never gotten sick from it after ordering it from several locations.

Staff was not confidence inspiring in their understanding of gluten sensitivity or their own company’s measures to accommodate. Very limited GF menu options, does not use dedicated fryer or prep space.

I ordered a gluten free item without the glutenous sauce. However, my order came with the sauce. They quickly replaced my food once I realized (I did eat a few bites because it blended in). The waitress and manager came out and apologized sincerely, wanting to do whatever they could to make up for the mistake in the kitchen. Just double double check, that's what I learned!! I'm somewhat new at this

Gluten free bun was good, and I’m picky! Wish they had gluten free fries!
Many things on the menu were gluten free. More than we normally see. They even had gf version of their specialty dessert. My 15 yr old daughter recently diagnosed w celiacs was very happy with this restaurant. The server was very careful to also note if the gluten was a preference or allergy.
Yes
The GF pizza was really good! They even have GF buns and a GF Pazookie! Our server was very helpful and knowledgeable about which foods my daughter could have. Great experience!
Love BJs pizza and pazookie! The chicken, bacon ranch pizza is gluten free when ordered on gluten free crust and is amazing!
gf pazookie is one of a kind.
They are very caring and consciences about celiac and allergy needs! Very recommended and I feel a restaurant that is way above the rest. The only down side like most is menu limited.
I got the gluten free pizza. Not good. It tasted like they went to the grocery store, bought a gluten free pizza, then charged me a ton for it. I've had way better gluten free pizza in Columbus, including delivery. Plus our server was a jerk about it and seemed annoyed by my questions about cross contamination. I would not recommend.
No
The menu was small. Very, very small. I was sad because I really liked that restaurant before I found out I had celiac... The balsamic chicken was very good even though I wasn't in the mood for that, or the other few things on the menu for that matter. But the gluten free pizookie (I think that's how it's spelled?) was very mediocre. I'll just get the ice cream next time. I'll give them this, though: they are careful about how they cook things and do try to meet your needs.
Yes
I always get the basalmic chicken and it is usually pretty good. They occasionally make gf mistakes like leaving on onion straws but managers quick to fix the problem. Just make sure they are aware. Nice that they have gf cookie.
They gave me a pamphlet listing every dish with the major allergens in each one. The gf chocolate chip pizookie cookie was served warm a al mode. Delicious. We will be back.
TUTTLE MALL location, sorry. Gluten free menu and one gluten fee beer available, 4. Decent selection of food, enjoyable & delicious dishes, desserts also! 4.5. Service, not horrible, not great--our server was either brand new, or just not knowledgeable in general about gluten free OR regular beers. (Didn't know the name of the one gluten free beer selection, or where their beer and featured IPA was brewed. LOL Ill probably go back and try a different server. This was my first visit.
Avoid the apple wood smoked bacon and blacked chicken. They don't have gluten in them but can could be cross contaminated.
I can’t speak for anyone else’s experience but…My daughter has celiacs so eating out is a struggle, especially on the road. We picked BJ's bc they have gf buns. But they went above and beyond for my daughter. Our server Deja HANDCUT her French fries and then oven cooked them so there was no cross contamination with the fryers and had their manager cook her onions and mushrooms bc the kitchen was busy and she wanted to make sure it was right. I couldn't have asked for a better server or food for her!

I love their burgers/sandwiches. The server did warn me that the fries are cooked in a shared fryer, but it didn’t make me sick. So I guess they must change their oil out frequently or something.

I really love BJ’s as an easy place to eat out. They’re super knowledgeable about gf things and while I didn’t ask about specific practices, as soon as I said I had celiac’s, the server reassured me. And honestly the food tastes great. I had a burger and the gluten-free pizookie and it was delicious! My ice cream was even served from a brand new package to be extra safe. Didn’t get sick, would definitely come back.

Gluten Sensitive Option items marked on menu (appetizers, salads, entrees). Gluten free buns available for burgers. Gluten free pizza option. I had a Strawberry fields chicken salad with balsamic vinaigrette. It was average good.
The service was horrible, we felt like we were at an invisible table. The large group that arrived well after we ordered received their food before ours. And our 3 orders came out piece meal from the kitchen. We had to ask multiple times for items we ordered, for refills and for our change once we paid the bill.
