After a rough start, I got the info I needed to order and had no issues. This is my third Blaze and the chain is designed to be very GF friendly. It comes down to training. I love the pizza and drinks.
Yes
They didn’t have a clue how to not cross contaminate. Very disappointed.
No
other Blaze locations are well trained on keeping everything separate and safe.. not so much with this location. somewhat careless and not as careful as they should be.
It tastes good but contamination is a problem. You might get lucky. But I no longer take the chance.
When I told them I needed a gluten free pizza the manager made the pizza herself. Didn't get sick - so all in all it was a great experience. FYI Fresh Brother's staff is trained to handle food to avoid cross contamination. It comes with a sticker across the box that says gluten free! Their gluten free wings are great too.
We are celiacs and this place is set up to accommodate (they have non contaminated sauce and clean pizza slicer etc) but major issues with staff knowledge. I have been there 4 times and 3 of the times I had to direct them as to where the sauce is and had to stop them from using the glutinous pizza slicer. Today they took the trouble to go through the steps but used the same spoon from the glutinous tomato sauce and dunked it into the non contaminated sauce, thereby contaminating it. I've been to other blazes that are better (ie you separate utensils etc.) You can probably eat here but poorly trained staff so go before it's super busy so you can manage them.
My daughter got sick with cross-contamination this evening (spoon issue I suspect).
i love blaze. I'm allergic to gluten and dairy abd they are so accommodating. the gluten free is crispy and thin and the choice of toppings is so great that i don't even miss the cheese! they do have vegan cheese available if you like vegan cheese. My favorite pizza place.
Yes
The BEST pizza! They have gluten free and dairy free options which is awesome. I’ve never had a bad reaction here, the food is excellent and the staff are very knowledgeable. They change gloves, utensils, everything. I love coming here!

Pizza was good until I got severely ill. May not be cross contaminated while making, however once it’s in the oven it’s fair game as it’s touching everywhere normal pizza is fired.

They DO offer gluten free crust ***BUT*** refuse to work with you to keep your order gluten free!!! The will ONLY use the toppings that are out (& already cross comtaminated🥺) worse reaction ever when I asked them to use fresh gloves! I left without making a purchase.

I really liked this place and felt safe. They put the dough on a mat so it’s not on the same surface as the gluten pizza when cooking it. They changed the gloves and made sure no one touched my pizza with gluten hands. They have a certain sauce just for gluten free pizza. They got ingredients from the bottom that weren’t touched and used a clean pizza cutter to cut my pizza. They didn’t seem to mind accommodating. I apologized for being complicated and they were just like it’s not that big of a deal.

Don’t eat here! I got such attitude on the gluten free ask. The girl was so put out that she didn’t even get the toppings from a clean container. I paid for the pizza and threw it out. I will never go there again!!
