I read the reviews here like I always do. So, I went to check it out! They fry everything in rice four! Wow! I was absolutely delicious. Lots of variety. Highly recommend especially if you miss having fried food. Yum, yum, yum.

We were only in town for 3 nights and we ate here 2 of them because it was so good. Gluten free & they can do dairy free fried shrimp which was amazing. We also had the calamari and fried soft shell crab which was a special that night. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for seafood

Visiting from out of town and this was the most recommended on many Charleston GF pages. A great experience trying many of their menu items! Surprised to say that the menu was almost all gluten free expect for maybe 6 or 7 items not including the sushi menu. Items are fried in rice flour. The fried shrimp was great!! And a unique item we tried was the deviled oysters. Would definitely visit again if in the area. P

Had the classic sushi and it was okay. The fried shrimp was GF and delicious! Hard to find GF fried shrimp...its been years. The portion was huge. Had a nice happy hour cocktail. We'll be back.

Atmosphere, food and service were all wonderful. Did not have a separate gluten free menu but a lot of the menu including fried foods were gluten free! We tried a sushi roll with gluten free soy sauce which was outstanding and then shared a large platter of fried shrimp, grouper and oysters complete with fries and coleslaw. Only thing not gf were the hush puppies which they excluded. Sweet tea was also good.

I have not had quality, fried shrimp for 25 years. Not only was it SPECTACULAR, it was hot, crispy, and not greasy at all! We also had fries (dedicated fryer) and sticky green beans. Honestly, it about brought tears to my eyes how good this meal was! Thank you!

Wonderful experience while visiting Charleston! Owner stopped by table to let us know his son has Celiac so most dishes can be prepped safely. Separate area with a separate fryer. I had fries for my appetizer (since they were safe.)Then I had two sushi rolls, one tempura battered(rice flour). SO good! They offered two GF desserts, Creme Brûlée & Sorbet. Next time I will try their fried platter, grouper, shrimp & oysters. 😁

Freaking AMAZING. Almost everything in the menu could be made gluten free…yes.. even the fried stuff!! My husband and I had oysters, calamari, fried shrimp, fried fish, fries, and crème brûlée. Woke up this morning, no issues. The staff was super knowledgeable and super nice. 10/10 will be coming back.

I love this place! Have eaten here 2 years in a row on vacation and never gotten sick. They are so accommodating for any food allergies. They go above and beyond to make sure you have a safe dining experience! The food is excellent and they have a very nice covered patio that is dog friendly 😊

We went to celebrate my 17 year old’s birthday and she loves sushi. Restaurant was really nice and the food was wonderful. I was actually able to have fried fish and fries!

Wonderful high quality seafood at great prices. Lots of GF Options and the GF Calamari was delicious. I would have eaten here more than once if we had not had to leave to return to Tennessee. Definitely worth visiting.

Food was good, they have a dedicated fryer. The lack of detail with the service both times we went was a bit frustrating though, which made me pretty nervous about how thorough they were with cross contamination prevention. Regardless, the food was tasty and I didn’t get sick. Would eat here again, but be sure to confirm everything. Most items on the menu can be done gluten free but you do have to ask them to go through it with you, which is ultimately fine but seems less efficient for everyone involved.

The fried seafood was amazing! So hard to find in Charleston. The server was knowledgeable and they had a dedicated fryer. I’m not celiac but I know that’s important to a lot of people that are. This will definitely be added to our must go again list for next years trip to Charleston!

Amazing experience all around! Do not skip going to this restaurant. I found it through this app while I was traveling to Charleston. Not only do they offer gf fried seafood, their sushi is outstanding and they even have gf tempura for the rolls. Our bartender was super friendly and helpful. My boyfriend loved his grouper dinner and it was also gf. If I lived in Charleston, I’d go here all the time! Also, a manager stopped by to assure me everything I ordered was definitely gluten free.

The food was delicious! After speaking with the server, I was so excited to learn that they had separate fryers and that I could get fried seafood and french fries! The owner came out a little later and just stopped by our table. I thanked him for looking out for us gf folks, and we found out his son has celiac and so when he was planning the restaurant, they planned their gf strategy. Not only are the fryers separate, they are in a different location from the regular fryers. If you enjoy sushi, they have accommodated that as well, even making a gf tempura batter. It was wonderful to have such a variety to choose from!

I LOVED this place!!! Truly phenomenal seafood. We got a server who was only on his second day of working there but was so kind and ran back and forth to the kitchen a bunch to make sure that everything was 100% safe for me to eat. Their menu is huge & there is something for everyone. I felt very safe eating here and it was the best meal I’ve had on my trip by far. We had fried fish, fries, baked oysters, and a sushi roll with Tamari. Absolutely amazing!!

Excellent gluten free food. I had a salmon roll with gf soy sauce and a fried oyster, shrimp, and flounder platter. The fries and fried seafood was amazing. I felt completely safe as the waitstaff was extremely knowledgeable. The sushi rolls can all be made gluten free except for two specialty rolls. Highly recommend!

The GF fried shrimp and fries were delicious. A bit pricey but average for the location. Very knowledgeable about celiac. They use rice flour and have a dedicated fryer. We stopped in after a trip to the beach and felt a little under-dressed. They were busy and we had a very long wait to order our food after we were seated. But as far as gluten free is concerned, our 13yo daughter with celiac felt comfortable eating here.

Chris was our waiter and he was very knowledgeable about celiac and gluten intolerance. He said his wife has celiac which made me feel even more comfortable. He checked with the kitchen for certain dishes and was so accommodating. Yay Chris! Thanks to him.

My daughter has celiac. We explained to the waiter and he was very accommodating. Explained they have dedicated fryer and have gluten free flour so they can make some of the breaded dishes with it. We ended up ordering sushi roll for her which was kind of bland. I would highly recommend because they were knowledgeable so we felt my daughter is safe, which is rare when we go outside
