My boyfriend who has celiac disease ate here and didn’t have a reaction! We shared the brussel & kale salad, grilled cheese, and pan seared salmon. Our server was knowledgeable about cross contamination and assured us she would alert the chef of his allergy. Food was simple and good but quite pricey - especially considering it seemed like the GF bread was Udi’s…

A number of options on the menu are naturally, or can be made, GF. I told my server several times about my gluten and nut allergies. True food was tasty (grilled cheese & bacon on GF bread with tomato soup), but unfortunately while still in the restaurant was sick. Guessing some sort of cross contamination or unclear labels.

Blue Door Farmstand restaurant on Halsted does not label menu, but seems to be a few options and servers are well versed. Blue Door Farm Stand Too on Armitage charges $21 for GF sandwiches and didn’t acknowledge my allergy after I said it several times. $21 plus tip was just shocking for a subpar experience.

Server made a note for the chef that I had a severe allergy. The service was great and despite the small menu I had a few different choices that were naturally gluten free.

Server was very knowledgeable and while the menu is short so there are not a ton of gf options, the dish I had was very good (naturally all gf) and I did not get sick! Would go back!
