Had an amazing dinner here Labor Day weekend 2023. Went because we saw this review here. Did not disappoint! Had GF fish and chips and the fried chicken! YUM. Service was excellent, setting was great and fun (outside) so many GF options. No gluten goes into the fryer. They said they only use a rice flour “breading”.

Absolutely wonderful experience everything was perfect 😍 my new wife and I went and it was such a friendly atmosphere. We loved Jamie our server so attentive and the food was some of the best gluten free I’ve ever had!! I could even have chowder, fries, and fried chicken and I have celiac plus they gave us a great recommendation for gluten free breakfast and the owner was so kind 💕 definitely a MUST go to for celiacs!

They seem to completely understand what it takes to make a safe gluten free meal. I had Haddock and fries. They use rice flour for the Haddock. I tested my meal with my NIMA tester and it indicated no gluten was found, smiling face. Almost everything on the menu is gluten free.

Wonderful experience! I was nervous at first but when I asked the server, he told me almost everything on the menu can be made gluten free and the fryer is dedicated GF and said that there is a dedicated space for GF meal preparation. I ordered the haddock sandwich with gluten free bun and it was great! I also got fries which I must get any time I hear they are GF.
We also brought our corgi with us and they were so kind. The hostess was super welcoming to him and sat us under the patio where it was shady but also where he would have space. She brought us out a bowl with water and ice cubes immediately as well.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience at Brix +Brine! Staff was extremely knowledgeable about gluten free and informed us that almost everything on the menu either was gluten free or could be made gluten free (except pasta). Their fryer is dedicated gluten free. Everything we tried was delicious and will definitely be coming back for more!

Went to Brix & Brine for dinner last night and we were lucky enough to be seated right away! When I asked if they had a gf menu, the hostess cautiously said to confirm with the server, but that she was pretty certain that their buns were the only gluten in the kitchen. Just about everything there is or can be gf! Fryer is dedicated gf. They were very busy and our waiter was still took great care of us. When I told him that I have celiac, he said “thank you” and wrote it right down! My boyfriend and I each enjoyed a mocktail- they have 4 shrubs on their menu all name after local landmarks. We had an amazing jumbo shrimp cocktail, a Baja salad, hanger steak & fries. I don’t do dairy and everything came out of the kitchen correctly with the cheese on the side of the salad and herb butter on the side of the steak (for my bf to enjoy). Great experience overall and would definitely consider this to be a very celiac friendly establishment.

No gluten goes in the fryer! It was amazing to have fried food again. They fry everything with corn starch so I could order whatever I wanted off the menu.

everything fried is gluten free on their menu- it’s not listed on their menu, so I asked the server. Gluten free buns available too. Had the fried calamari, it was awesome and no stomachaches after.

The menu makes no mention of “gluten free” with the exception of having gluten free buns available, but this place rocks. When I asked the hostess if they could accommodate gluten free she went in depth to explain how easily many of the menu items could be prepared gluten free and that anything that is breaded and fried is breaded in rice flour and canola oil. When I ordered a burger with a gluten free bun our server asked whether or not I was celiac, which I am, I was then told my meal would be Cooked in a separate pan.
The French fries are incredible, the burger was very good, the service was excellent and the atmosphere is like being at backyard party. I wouldn’t mind a bigger cider selection, but other than that, if you have celiac and visit Ogunquit, this is the place to go

A fun place in the center of Ogunquit. Outdoor seating and bar, Cody the bartender was great and knowledgeable regarding gluten-free and cross-contamination. Most items on the menu are naturally gluten-free. We had delicious Vietnamese style wings for an appetizer, and even gluten-free fried chicken dinner, so good! The grilled salmon was excellent as well. All the fried food is gluten-free as well, we heard the fish and chips are great! So glad to find a safe restaurant near my home. We can’t wait to go back!

Yesterday, we were looking for fried seafood in Ogunquit, ME. Holy Cow! We must of tried over seven restaurants. No celiac friendly eating establishments in this tourist area! CRAZY... We were just about to give when we decided to try one more place. Brix + Brine turned out to be the place to go for gluten free seafood, burgers, etc etc etc... The host informed us that this is a gluten free establishment.Outdoor seating was very pleasant and the waitress was very informed of celiac. I ordered fried haddock with French fries. The portion was huge! All the bread crumbs gluten free. Wonderful! Burgers served there are with gluten free buns. The waitress informed us that the staff is very aware of needs of celiacs. Anything listed on the menu is celiac friendly or can be made so.Long story short..... If you are in the Ogunquit area and craving seafood, burgers,a full bar, pleasant outdoor atmosphere...Don’t run around crazy like we did.... Go to the Brix + Brine.... Enjoy..P.S. I don’t work there. Just a guy with Celiac that Enjoys fried seafood!
Gluten free ingredients (buns etc) but waitress said tiny kitchen and extensive cross contamination. Shared fryer. Grill for meats also used for gluten buns. We did not eat there
