Burger 21

My 7 year old twins have celiac and this is one of their favorite places to eat. The burgers are delicious and they have a dedicated fryer for their fries. Everyone is always very friendly. They always beg to go to burger 21!

Within half an hour of eating from this restaurant, I had a gluten reaction. I let the employee taking my order know that I have a gluten allergy and he seemed a bit nonchalant. I’m not sure if the issue was the “dedicated fryer” (which I was told they have) or another prep issue, but I would NOT recommend this place for someone who has celiac.

Place was phenomenal. Very nonchalant because I think they are use to us now… and I say that with all the compliments in the world. Let them know your sitch and shld be all good. Def going back and will repost. I waited a week before making this post. Love the place. And i am super sensitive.

Had the GF fries (separate fryer) and beyond burger with gif buns. They took precaution to avoid cross contamination. Awesome sauces! Never felt sick

The food was good, I had no reaction and I’m very sensitive. I ate a burger salad. They say they can make pretty much anything on the menu gf. It’s not the ‘healthiest’ choice or my regular way of eating.

Traveling with hungry kids stopped by to get some French fries. They have a dedicated fryer. Server very knowledgeable. No issues

You can pretty much get any of the burgers GF. Good buns! I’ve been there twice now without any issues. They have a separate fryer for fries.

Dedicated fryer for fries, great GF buns and burgers - items were tested on my Nima Sensor and came back with no gluten found. Menu is clearly marked and noted when order is placed.

Staff knowledgeable and food was marked as gluten free and server said it was upon serving it. Great burgers and dedicated fryer.

Had the new Impossible Burger that was GF on a GF bun and fries cooked separate. Just mention to the staff during your order you'd like it GF and they will take care of it for you. Now need to go back and try the real Burger! Great place.

I’m celiac and I would recommend this place! It was delicious! I had the cheesy burger and sweet potato fries. ALL GF! The staff was very friendly, and reassured me that all GF food were cooked separately on different grills and separate fries.

I waited 5hrs to leave this review to see if I’d have any reaction. And NOTHING! 💚✅

Absolutely the best gluten-free buns and hamburger we have ever had. We ordered the Swiss mushroom onion burger, and the fries and sweet potato fries that were made in a dedicated fryer! I would recommend this place hands down hopefully we can find one back in Home in Virginia

just ordered here. i’m very upset. food not gluten free and i now have a very sore bottom. not just from all the diarrhea, but the wiping too. not only did i literally throw money into the toilet, but who is gonna reimburse me for all that toilet paper. hmmmm.... what a waste, didn’t even put ketchup on there even though i ordered it. burger 21, more like eat a burger and then wipe your bottom 21 times

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I order the GF version of a chicken sandwich and they brought me a BREADED CHICKEN SANDWICH with a GF bun................. thankfully I caught it

excellent gluten free burgers & fries

Got the 101 burger and sweet potato fries. They have a separate area for cooking the gf food. The owner is gf as well. Never have I gotten sick here and I eat here very often. Would 100% recommend this to others with a gluten free diet.

The burger buns are the best I've had. They also have french fries and sweet potato fries that you can order gluten free. They make them in a dedicated frier. I've never gotten sick.

Staff was knowledgeable. I skipped the fries since I'm paranoid. I don't eat out much at all so this was a leap. Burger was good (not amazing but good), milkshake was delicious. Food was brought out separately and marked. They said they make the milkshake with a separate spindle to avoid cc. Good experience, didn't get sick.

Really enjoyed our experience here today! I felt they took our allergy very seriously and the food was delicious! The burger was cooked perfectly and the sweet potato fries were so good too! Definitely recommend as they have quite a few things on the menu that are GF.
