Would give it 6 stars if I could. Loved this place! Gf picky son loved his burger and bun! He even got to eat the fries! Non gf kids loved their food too. Very friendly and knowledgable staff. Wish they had this place in MN!

Amazing, they understand and know what to do. For $0.95 you can sub the bun for a gluten free bun and it tasted like real bread. Also the entire menu is marked clearly what is gluten free and which is not. I will definitely go again. Amazing

The burger was amazing, but they said their fryer for the fries is right next to another fryer that does stuff with gluten and things easily fall into the fryer with the fries so they said they didn't recommend them for people who have Celiac Disease. It was great for a tasty burger though.

We loved the burgers and fries here! The 3 members of the family who had gf buns said they were great. We were warned of the possibility of cross contamination with the fries even though they fry them separate from the onion rings. No one had a problem even our youngest daughter who has celiac the very worst. Such a fun find on our way to the Padres game!

Beautiful burgers, and even better, I didn't get sick. Went two times over the course of our trip and loved it both times. The fries are made in the same fryer as the onion rings so I couldn't eat those, but the burger with a gluten free bun was more than enough to fill me up. Great place for the whole family to eat and their sodas are amazing.

The manager was great! I was ordering the kale salad and he explained that while they fry sweet potatoes in a separate fryer when the open there is a period where the fries are in mixed oils and although it seems ok for sensitivity he recommended that those with celiacs leave it off. He was knowledgable and forthcoming. Definitely recommend!

This was the best GF turkey burger I've ever had. Don't have the fries if you are celiac because they are cross-contaminated. However, I had the burger with the gf bun and it was filling enough with no side. So delicious!

I read these reviews before going, and I asked about the gluten free bun prep before ordering. They told me that they are prepared in a separate area, so I assumed their procedures had changed. I got serious cross contamination flu like symptoms within a few hours after. Definitely not celiac safe!

Have been to several other Burger Lounge locations where there is clearly a lot of care put into avoidance of cross contamination. This location does not seem to be making this a priority. When asked about if GF buns or other burger components are toasted in a separate area the staff seemed uncertain and told me that they don't have standards that are safe for those with allergies/celiac. I have celiac disease and for me this is too risky.

Let me begin by saying I've been diagnosed with Celiac for about 2 years now; so, needless to say, I've had my fair share of gluten-free burgers -- good and bad. The Lounge Burger was the best I've had, even factoring in the gluten filled burgers I had pre-diagnosis. The staff was beyond helpful, very knowledgeable and the owner was the kind of guy you would have a drink with. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, and was very well decorated. The menu had a healthy amount of options, but then again you don't go to a place called "Burger Lounge" for a salad -- especially when they have the best gluten free buns I've ever had. I took one bite, and had to ask him if it was gluten free, because it tasted so much like the real thing. I couldn't recommend an eatery more highly; now stop reading this and go already!

I asked my usual questions about food prep and was assured I could have a safely prepared gluten free burger. When I got the burger my gluten free bun was toasted. An alarm syarted in my mind, so I asked for the manager. Sure enough, it was was toasted with the standard buns. The manager was apologetic and personally prepared me a new burger with an untoasted bun.

They also have gluten free buns! Just got done eating my burger...holy cow it was sooo delicious!!! There is jalapeño relish on it but you cannot taste the spice if you can't handle it. The French fries are also so delicious!! I will be coming here again!!! Amazing!!

Excellent grass fed burgers!! They have beef turkey, bison and albacore. The gf bun was very good! The staff was educated in what was and wasn't gf. With the mangers help they were able to get dairy free as well. My only complaint was there fries are cooked in the same fryer as there onion rings, and they don't have any GF sides except a small and large salads.

Update: as of latest visit (4/15) it appears they no longer have a dedicated frier. I think this may be due to the addition of chicken nuggets to their menu. Sadness. And they managed to make my Celiac hubby very sick with just the burger & bun. Very sad. The good news is we found Pure Burger just a few miles away. The burgers are much better, GF sauces, toppings etc are clearly marked on the menu and they will be careful if you ask. *************** Delicious everything. They have GF buns. They are knowledgable about cross contamination. It was my understanding that they *do* have a dedicated frier that only fries are fried in. This does vary from location to location. However, the employees are quite clear that this frier is in close proximity to the onion ring frier & it is theoretically possible for an onion ring or crumbs to fall into the French fry frier. I specifically asked if the two friers shared oil or recirculated oil & was told that they do not. I've eaten at this location twice (most recently 12/14) & was given this exact same answer re: the friers both times. And my super sensitive Celiac hubby has had no reactions from eating here. So we feel reasonably comfortable eating here on the rare occasion that we take the kids to Legoland.

I got the classic burger both times and they toasted the GF bun mmmm. I also tried the chocolate shake and the rootbeer float and they were both delicious.
