Burger Lounge

After a discussion about gluten free due to being celiac.... I was told they had a dedicated fryer. My fries had a chunk of onion ring on them! I’m sick now.

I enjoyed my lounge burger and fries!

Okay. The burger itself was really good but they have generic GF Udis buns which we personally don’t like. The kids size burger was tiny and didn’t take up half of the GF bun. Fries were not in a dedicated fryer and were cool and not flavorful. We ate here late at night so not sure if that’s why our food wasn’t great? Our extended family ate at a different location a day earlier and loved both the burgers and fries however they are not GF. So not sure why our experience wasn’t as good as theirs.

Nima showed gluten in both the turkey burger and the green salad. They were very nice and comped my meal, but I was not able to eat anything safely.

Everything about this place is awesome! Best gluten free bun I've ever tasted! And all the food was great. Super friendly staff that knows a lot about gluten. He asked right away if we had a sensitivity or severe allergy so he could let the staff know to use all fresh utensils and wear gloves. Lots of fresh and organic. If I'm in SD again, I would definitely come back!

Delicious! The gluten free bun and burger really hit the spot after a busy day. Avoid the fries (they are cross contaminated but they let you know that upon ordering). Staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. Super fast too! I'll be back!

Very knowledgeable about GF cross contamination. Burger and salad were DELICIOUS! Tested it with my Nima and it found no traces of gluten!

Delicious quinoa burger with GF bun. It fell apart but I just used fork and knife. My friends hamburger was delicious too as were the fries. Not greasy at all.

"The Husky" burger was amazing.

The manager was great! I was ordering the kale salad and he explained that while they fry sweet potatoes in a separate fryer when the open there is a period where the fries are in mixed oils and although it seems ok for sensitivity he recommended that those with celiacs leave it off. He was knowledgable and forthcoming. Definitely recommend!

Lamb burger just became available on the menu today. The guy working the register said we are the first to try it!! He also said the fries are cooked in a separate fryer. They also have gluten free buns! Just got done eating my burger...holy cow it was sooo delicious!!! There is jalapeño relish on it but you cannot taste the spice if you can't handle it. The French fries are also so delicious!! I will be coming here again!!! Amazing!!

all patties are cooked on the same flat top, not safe for celiac. the staff did mention how they have a dedicated spot for the gf buns, but still because of the possible cross contamination with the patties i couldn’t get anything. if you don’t have celiac or aren’t very sensitive you should be fine, but otherwise i wouldn’t take the risk.

Love burger lounge especially the paleo /keto burger on lettuce with bacon and more. I can never get a straight answer from this place whether they have a separate fryer so we generally avoid the fries— huge bummer.

Dairy free shakes are awesome. Overall great burgers and they were knowledgeable safety wise except for the fryer.
