The BEST restaurant to eat at if you’re gluten free & sensitive to cross contamination. Their menu is clearly marked and staff is knowledgeable. They will cook your sandwiches & burgers in a separate pan if need be. Food is delicious!! This is my favorite safe restaurant.

Great restaurant, good experience for two celiacs. Place has a cool, modern, artsy vibe. Good menu, a lot of locally-sourced stuff. GF items are clearly marked, and server was knowledgeable and accommodating.

Want a unique dining experience this is the place. They offer many Gluten-free options. Staff knows what celiacs require and happy to get it right the first time. Our waitress was outstanding!!!! She made 4 strangers to town feel very welcomed!! The food was very tasty and fresh. Beet salad, turkey with chedder on gf bread, home made brown rice and chicken soup were all ordered and delicious. There is a full bar offered also tho after biking our waitress was happy to keep the ice water coming.

Horrible experience. Lunch took an hour and a half. Were then told they would pay for our meal only to come back and say the manager said to take only 20% off. Ridiculous! To top it all off, I ended up sick-throwing up and the sorts less than an hour later, lasting for a few hours. Had to be food poisoning. I will never go back.

The staff was helpful. Gluten free options. I’m highly sensitive to gluten contamination and felt fine after eating here. Tacos were very tasty! French fries are delicious and gluten free! I eat here often. Never a problem.

Great gf options. They can toast the bread using wax paper so it doesn’t cross contaminate.

This place is now called Cafe Bodega. House-made GF bread, made with chia seeds, is a little crumbly but tastes good. Creme brûlée for dessert was the best I've had in a long, long time!

Very knowledgeable about Celiac disease. My waitress (haley) was a celiac and gave me all kinds of great advice about what I could eat. She also made recommendations about other safe restaurants in the area. The food was excellent. Farm to table with organic and grass fed ingredients. Took a little longer than most restaurants but scratch cooking always does and is totally worth it. Going back for breakfast tomorrow!

The ONLY thing they can make with their GF bread is a side of toast, which comes in at $5. Otherwise, most of the gluten free options are eggs, potatoes, and meats which are GF anyway.....It was also pricey and slow for average food. The only good thing I can say is that they understand what celiac is.

If you're in Marquette, and a Celiac or GF intolerant, you'll want to stop at the adorable and safe Sweet Water Cafe. Staff is super friendly. They make their own breads (including GF bread) and they use a separate toaster if you're having breakfast. Food was delicious, staff was both conscience and amazingly friendly. I had the Basic Breakfast (eggs, potatoes, bacon & GF toast. Delish and I appreciated their kindness and safety!

If everything here is so "local" as they claim, why do I see the Sysco truck loading food in there every week? The food is only ok, and the service is inattentive.
