I wish I had a great local restaurant like this in my town. The menu literally says "All menu items can be made GF upon request" Shrimp tacos on corn tortillas. Soft, delicious corn tortillas, perfectly cooked shrimp, fresh avocado slices simple but delicious. Loved it so much I came back the next day and ordered the Mo open faced grilled eggplant sandwich to go. Fantastic taste and texture. You don't see eggplant sandwiches on too many menus. Wonderful staff.

I think we must have had an unusual experience here. The proprietors are great. The food was just okay. I got breakfast tacos that sadly included part of a clear plastic wrapper, likely from the Bueno tub of red chile sauce. (They did take that meal off the ticket. ) My girlfriend had the enchiladas. We agreed that the chile sauce was only "fine." They seemed to understand well about gf needs. We told them at the beginning. And they helped us work with other dietary issues. But now a few hours later my girlfriend is having a reaction and says she feels that she ate gluten. She did say the fruit she had instead of potatoes was very good.

Wow! This place was a gem! My boyfriend and I decided to stop here on our quick trip into Albuquerque since the reviews were so good. I had the breakfast tacos and he had the club sandwich, it was all so delicious! The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. I am also dairy free and they have plant based cheeses and dairy free milk options(oat, almond, coconut) for their coffee and teas which was an added plus as well. I am super super sensitive to cross contamination and this place not only made me feel comfortable eating there but the food and service was amazing on top of it. No reactions at all, I will definitely be coming back.

The restaurant was super busy when we got there but the staff was still so kind and was obviously really trying their best to keep up! They were very kind and accommodating of me and Owen throughout our time there! The sandwiches were amazing, toasted, and clean! Owen didn’t get sick and we were able to enjoy a truly quality lunch together after a long day of walking around in the heat! I would definitely recommend the white chocolate hot chocolate it was so good!!

I have celiac disease and I had their delicious gluten-free French toast on 5/2/23 with no issues. The waitress was very knowledgeable and was aware that people come to the restaurant specifically because of its gluten-free options and reputation.

Stopped here for breakfast. Was exciting to find GF and dairy free French toast, as well as many other options. They also had vegan butter for the toast which was awesome. Even had GF pastries (all had dairy). Food was good, and had no issues afterward.

Absolutely delicious. So happy they are able to make everything gluten free. Amy was super knowledgeable. They also are able to accommodate really well for other dietary restrictions. Try the French toast. It was by far one of the best French toast I have ever had.

So great! I appreciated all of the GF options and the staff seemed very knowledgeable. They say all menu items can be GF. I ordered the Breakfast Pizza, and it was delicious! I couldn’t resist ordering something with pizza in the name because I never eat pizza at restaurants. It seems like there are also options for vegan eaters (vegan cheese and vegan butter).

I’m bummed. I’ve eaten there many times over the last few years- always felt safe with the food. Great customer service. The last two times I ate there however I got sick. It was the only thing I ate before getting sick in both circumstances. I was clear with my server that I am a celiac too.

Cafe Lush is great GF place near downtown ABQ. Everything on their menu has a very good GF alternatives or is already GF. Like, GF gourmet French toast and their savory potatoe pancake. Every plate comes with a small serving of fruit and a tiny GF muffin! Their bacon, all safe, is FABULOUS.

They are very knowledgeable about celiac and other allergens/intolerances and offer options across their menu to accommodate.

They have indoor and outdoor (highly recommend if available) dining. Also, in the summer there is a lovely outdoor market a few blocks away.

Everything on the menu can be made gluten free. Lots of diner food. I had a wonderful tuna melt. The bread was great and the waitress said “gluten free” as she put down my meal which was good or else I wouldn’t believe it- it was really yummy. Skip the breakfast potatoes in my opinion (just taste, not gluten related)- but everything else was great.

Cute place! Ate here twice during a family trip and didn't get sick! Family run business and very yummy red and green chile. Not a very diverse menu (think cafe food, sandwiches, salads and the traditional New Mexico offerings like Chile sauces and one enchilada dish) but they say they can make anything on the menu gluten free (they have separate work stations) and everything we had was delicious. Would recommend and will return 👍

Well, as soon as you walk in it feels right!!! Great local coffee and GF breads, as well as my favorite, Canyon Bakehouse. I had eggs and LUSH Bacon with potatoes and picked up a piece of Banana Walnut Coffee Cake. Excellent service. Very knowledgeable. Brunch featured on Saturdays. Loving this place.
