They no longer have a dedicated frier (waitress said that the oil they use now is not safe), so be aware of that and ask everytime. The lack of a safe frier does cut down what is safe for those with celiac disease. Other than that, good food.

Safe chips, queso and guac is the real reason to go. Entrees were totally safe and separate this is more of a quantity over quality place. Fun ambience and was affordable and the staff was great.

Adding our second experience to this too: hostess had Celiac and right off the bat told us what was safe, not safe, etc. we had a few questions on the menu and our sever Brooke was great about going back to the kitchen and asking each time. The food was good- love being able to get chips!
Great experience at Cantina Louie this was our first time at this location. Love the dedicated chip fryer. They do not have a separate menu but the server was knowledgeable and checked with the kitchen on our questions. Great atmosphere on the marsh and a little putting green.

One of my favorite places to eat now that I am Gluten free. I like the fact if you tell them you have an allergy they take it seriously. I have always left there feeling like I could relax and injoy my food with family and/or friends.

Gluten free chips made in dedicated fryer. Gluten free options for almost everything on the menu. Knowledgeable staff. Not very upscale but it does the job. Floor is super slick so be careful.

Fun, festive environment. Delicious food. Our server wasn't well versed about gluten-free offerings (no separate menu) but the regional manager we spoke to was very knowledgeable. Plenty of GF items to choose from! Dedicated fryer for corn products. We were thrilled to have chips and salsa. We'll definitely dine here again!

While they do not have a separate GF menu, the staff was very knowledgeable about what items were gluten free, and were more than willing to help! The servers were sure to notify the cooks of my Celiac, and anyone who came to drop stuff at our table was also informed. Any servers who weren’t sure what “gluten” was were very open to listening and checking to make sure items were safe.
One server (who I believe may have been the shift manager) came over and went over the entire menu with us, and answered any questions we had about items. They do have a dedicated GF fryer for their corn tortilla chips, and plenty of options for dips (queso, guac, salsa, and a corn/Mayo dish that we also used as dip).
About 75-80% of the menu is GF, so lots of options are available. Many things can be swapped or substituted so that they are safe. However, if you also have a corn allergy, this might not be the best option for you as most substitutes were corn-based. Prices are very affordable and we had a great time. I did not have a reaction at all after eating here and feel very confident in their service! Highly recommend!!

Delicious options for street tacos with corn or lettuce wraps. Confirmed chips are corn and fried in their own fryer. Staff was great explaining options and relaying allergy to kitchen. I’m very sensitive so new restaurants are scary but I can’t wait to go back!!

Delicious food and great atmosphere! The waitress said the corn tortilla chips are from a dedicated fryer. I had the Baja Salad and it was fantastic! Many menu items can be made with corn instead of flour tortillas. We will return!

Food was safe but I must have been spoiled by by the amazing place we frequent in our town because I found the food to be extremely bland. Chips were stale, guacamole was decent, shredded chicken street tacos were all tortillas and little filling. They were actually so bland I only ate 1 1/2. It's hard to find safe places so if we were local we'd try again but we are only in town for the weekend so our one and only visit was really disappointing.

This will be my go to place to eat when I am craving Mexican food! Manager & servers are extremely knowledgeable about gluten free & Celiac issues. Dedicated fryer, eat all the chips & salsa you want! I got the chicken fajitas with corn tortillas and it was delicious. I am a Celiac & extremely sensitive, did not get sick one bit!

I don’t as told that they could not make sure my food was safe for me to eat. Don’t trust this place if you have celiac disease!

The Birria queso tacos were delicious and the tortilla chips, salsa and queso dip were sooo good. The server was really patient and helped me order gluten free and I was told all ingredients are gluten free unless obviously not. (The tortilla chips are fried in their own fryer and are gluten free.) I am very sensitive and did not get adverse reaction at all. Also, the decor is very interesting.
