I've been here a handful of times and I've never had an issue.

Never got sick here but you always have to be mindful and let staff know

They said what was gluten free, but me being new to all this, didn’t think about the utensils or the gloves. It was really tasty but made me feel sick afterwards. Bummed.
Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
Good food. I like their bowls.

It's fun to be gf involved in a place like this but it's always a gamble with so many people and utensils. When I have gone in when it is slow, they are accommodating and change all the spoons and gloves and such. I still haven't felt well after the few times I've been there, though.
The server seemed to understand about gluten free, and upon request, changed her gloves. Then, when informing the next server on the assembly line that I was gluten free and required clean gloves, she absentmindedly put a wheat tortilla in to be warmed, and then put my corn tacos in a plate. When I pointed this out, she at first denied a problem, and then acquiesced to my request that she again change her gloves. No apology. The shredded beef for the taco was very wet, which resulted in a soggy taco that fell apart. This place was not cheap and the service and food quality should be better.
Love love love chipotle! Love how most of the menu is gf!
Good cafeteria style mexican restaurant. Most items are gluten free.
Best GF fast food experience so far. They didn’t make me feel weird or like I took too much time. I told them I have a gluten allergy and the line stopped. They changed spoons for what I ordered, wiped down the counter, got out fresh cheese and lettuce, changed gloves, and one person took charge of my order seeing it through to the end of the line. I know there’s still a risk, but I’m thankful for all they did to help me eat with my family.

I was a little concerned when I read it had been two years since the last review, but I went and as soon as I told the server I had celiac, she immediately offered to wipe down the surfaces and change gloves. She did it so cheerfully also!

Lots of gluten free options, good choice for catering, and ability to sort through gluten free options by using their dietary filter online. There are good options available if you're dairy free/vegan as well!

While there’s obviously a chance of cross contamination, the workers here are very nice and accommodating. Everything except for the tortillas is gluten free. I always ask them to change their gloves and this past time a worker felt her glove touch the tortillas after changing them so she immediately changed them again! They never have a problem getting lettuce or cheese from the back which I appreciate! I have not had a reaction here yet and I am very sensitive!

I told the server I was gluten sensitive, and she immediately changed gloves and handled all my food herself.
