The gluten free chocolate chip cookies are good! The employees were very friendly and accommodating. No problem to change gloves and seemed knowledgeable about cross contamination.

Although the ice cream is great, my experience was outstanding. She changed her gloves, sanitized the scoop, sanitized the knife, and opened a new ice cream so there was no cross contamination. Thank you so much for making sure I don't get sick from gluten :)
Absolutely outstanding. Delicious cookies and ice cream and superb awareness and care. I come here as often as I'm in the area!

Great place. They are well trained in cross contamination.
They have dedicated baking pans for the gluten free cookies so cleaning isn't a issue. They will ask if you need them to Change gloves to make your order or not. They even have dairy free coconut cream ice cream.
Always a line, but worth the wait. I only wish that they had chocolate coconut cream ice cream.

The ice cream is great. The cookies (I tried GF chocolate chip) were a little lacking in my opinion. I don't have celiac, just a wheat sensitivity, so I did not ask about contamination risk. They did ask me if they needed to change their gloves due to my allergy.
they had wonderful ice cream and even gluten free cookies to make ice cream sandwiches. very popular place but worth the wait!
Yes
I specified I was celiac but the shop employee didn’t know what flavors were gluten-free, and directed me to non-dairy flavors (I am not lactose intolerant)

We were excited to try CREAM because the website menu indicated which flavors were (& weren’t) gluten free, and even appeared to offer GF cookies for CREAM’s specialty, ice cream sandwiches. Unfortunately, not all staff were trained in safe GF/allergy food handling practices; the person helping us seemed annoyed by the request to change gloves and looked at me with blank confusion when I asked if the ice cream could be scooped with a fresh scoop from a fresh bin in the back, to avoid cross contamination. The manager came over and helped with the clean scooper, but apparently it would take too long to get a fresh container from the back (i think because it is frozen hard and would take too long to thaw? wasn’t 100% clear), so we ended up not getting ice cream. Kind of a bummer. There was one GF cookie (snickerdoodle - not a flavor we wanted so we passed); it was stored on the top shelf of the area where all the cookies are stored, so CC was possible but hard to tell.

They cute their GF cookies with the same spatula as non gf cookies. Watch out.

They do not understand cross-contamination. They put my gf cookies in a shared warmer, reminded them I had celiac and then they put the now cross-contaminated cookies back in with the gf cookies.

Amazing! I went in and the store owner was awesome, spoke to me about her experience w celiac and has THE BEST GLUTEN FREE COOKIES EVER!!! It melted in my mouth, never ate anything so amazing, and the ice cream hit the spot, too. What is more they don't use coconut in everything so my daughter can eat there too!!! So excited TB o have found out new sweet spot, thank you!!!!
