The only place I have found that has gluten free calzones in the area and they are fantastic! They also have a dedicated frier with awesome chicken fingers, and highly recommend the buffalo chicken calzones with them. I haven't seen the owners in months and asked about that tonight, I guess they have taken on more of an ownership role but are still involved. Food is still great and hasn't dropped in quality!

This is the first gluten free pizza/calzone spot that I felt entirely safe eating at. Their cross-contamination processes are the best I've seen! The calzone I got was delicious and the first one I've had since being diagnosed with celiac 10 years ago! Thank you Danvers Pizza & Subs!

The pizza and calzones were so good I had to question if they were gluten free! The crispy chicken is some of the best I’ve ever had. Everyone working there is very careful to make sure things are gluten free and are labeled as such. Will be back again!

I’m pretty heartbroken this place is so far away from me… The across the board great reviews hold water, it was the best gf chicken parm pizza I’ve had. The prices were expensive but I’ve yet to have such a good take out meal with confidence it was GF. I was there on a slow Saturday afternoon and the owner was at the register and she was so pleasant to talk to and knowledgeable on celiac. Tried my best to talk them into opening a spot on the south shore 😆 but alas, no luck. If I’m even close to this area again I’ll stop in, strongly recommend.

I have been twice and both times were fantastic! I felt very comfortable that they take gluten free seriously both times and everything I got was delicious.

I got a gf pizza the first time and it was very like real pizza crust. I legit almost cried. I also got a gluten free chocolate chip cookie that I have dreamed of since.

I just recently went back a second time and they only had non-gf cookies but I tried a gf calzone this time and y’all it was PACKED and cheesy and SO GOOD. It is more expensive than their regular calzone but it was SO worth it.

I can’t wait back to go again and try out even more of their gluten free offerings!!

One tip - they are takeout only; there is no place to sit.

This is a little gem of a place! The GF Thai tenders and fries were amazing! The GF calzones are huge and delicious. The portions are huge, and wonderful for leftovers the next day. It’s rare to find a pizza place that will accommodate and is very knowledgeable about the need to provide safe food for celiacs. This place totally gets it! We will be back for sure, soon! There is no seating inside, but we took our food to a public beach in Beverly and enjoyed the sailboats, waves, and sunset along with our delicious meal!! We highly recommend!!

I wish I could rate this place 500000 stars. Really really amazing gluten free options! The owners are so nice and seem super informed about allergies! They even gave me recommendations about other gluten free places in the area! And they even had a reading challenge for kids! The gluten free fries were the best ive ever had and made in a gluten free fryer! Even the ranch was top notch! I got the gluten free parm pizza and it blew me away. My stomach always hurts when I get take out because of cross contamination and this time I felt great after eating! Was definitely strictly gluten free and so happy to have found my new gluten free place!

Staff extremely knowledgeable and they label the box very well. The pizza crust is super thick - you cannot tell it is gf. Also so much variety - we had a chicken parmesan pizza that was incredible! One thing to note is that there is no seating, it is 100% take out.

A fantastic local business that treats every gluten-free order as if it were for celiac disease. There is no risk of airborne flour because they use RICE FLOUR as their bench flour and do not make any regular pizzas in house. Tasty gluten-free pizzas and dedicated fryers for wings. By far one of the best gluten free pizza places in the north shore. Staff is friendly and very informative. I’ve had 2 pizzas and 1 calzone so far all where excellent and well prepared and consistent! Calling in your order is so easy and they mentioned how chicken is prepared before I could even ask for grilled chicken on the pizza. It’s not often a restaurant beats you to the ask, which makes me feel even more comfortable.

Food is legit. Only had pizza or chicken fingers available tonight, so I got ‘em both. Everyone has been correct. Great pizza. Although one guy said that they only make GF pizza and that is false. They did understand celiac and GF and seemed to be careful with prep Chicken fingers were crispy, juicy and flavorful. Pizza crust was not the standard cracker. It was flavorful and reminiscent of a Neapolitan style. Chewy and crisp. My new go to when Im in the Danvers area.

Yes to everything previously stated! The fries are amazing! The chicken tenders are delicious (pro tip: be sure to ask for the sauce sampler)!! The girl at the counter was so sweet and helpful and understood my excitement! There wasn’t a separate GF menu, but the fries, tenders, pizza and calzones can all be made GF. Sadly, there were no calzone shells the day we were there, so we’ll definitely be back!!!

Many great gf options for my gf daughter. She said they were the best chicken tenders she ever had. Delicious gf crust on the pepperoni pizza. Also, the pizza came in a box that was clearly printed as gluten free. The staff was incredibly kind, too!
