Even though the reviews on this site gave me pause, it was a beautiful day, we managed to get outdoor seating, and the place overall gets good reviews so… we tried it. They only had a couple of things on the menu that were marked GF, but usually I can make it work by asking some questions and asking for substitutions. Plus lots of restaurants are kind enough to state right on the menu how to make it GF. I asked the server about the scallops and risotto, wondering why that wouldn’t be GF and she kind of shrugged so I requested that she go back to the kitchen and ask for clarification. When she returned she told me that they use flour in the roux. I’m Italian, and have never made risotto with a roux, but whatever. In the end, I ordered a salad and added seared scallops - and it was just delicious. But the salad was not marked GF - why? - the server said the candied pecans on it had gluten. How hard would that be to add that tiny comment to the menu?!? Bottom line is, it was delicious food (my non-GF hubby had the tuna) and setting but I don’t think I’d go here if I were celiac.

This used to be on my top list of local places with GF options but the menu has changed and it’s much more limited. I ordered a salad and found some pasta in it, making me completely terrified of their cross contamination “procedures”. Sadly this place is no longer on my list.

NOT. A. GF. RESTAURANT.
They are VERY clear— the kitchen is tiny. They cook ALL the pasta in the same shared water, the fryer is shared. Their BBQ restaurant is also NOT GF. The sauce has Worcestershire in it — but the staff will tell you that. The greens and brisket are ok— but the last two times I’ve been (we’re local) they served it with a piece of cornbread on top despite asking the waitstaff to let the kitchen know.

I ordered GF pizza. It was good. But I got very sick! Must have been cross contaminated. Will not go back again.

Promising at first, however they made mistakes on all 3 of the meals we made requests on. Added Dairy when we asked for lactose free, dressing on when we asked on the side, no chicken added, etc.

I am on an AutoImmuna Paleo diet (which means gluten, corn, soy, dairy, nuts, seeds, nightshade vegetables, sugar, wine, and caffeine are all out and can cause issues similar to those people with celiac have, although I do not have celiac disease) and this restaurant was able to accommodate AIP. Although, when I asked for their Gluten-free dressing on the side it was partially spilled on the salad. Greens and veggies were fresh, tuna cooked nicely. Overall, I am fairly pleased.
I'll give it a four because they have a large variety of gf options, but overall I did not think the food was worth the price
Several GF options, including FRIES!
My 8 year old son has celiac. They had NO gf options for kids - disappointing. They said they could do the hot dog with no roll. Plenty of adult gf options. Not sure why they can't offer a kids size steak or fish option. I had to buy my son an adult entry but he loved his steak (and mashed potatoes & green beans)!
Yummy salads, burgers and more- all GF options marked on menu. Fun outside space too!
