The first time I went, all went well. The owner actually spoke with me when I shared with the waitress I had Celiacs. He made sure they used a different pan to make my food. The second time, he was not there. I shared that I had Celiacs, and was told they understood. The corn tortias tasted different, and tasted like regular flour was mixed in. I only ate half of one since I was scared it was not 100% corn. Yup, within a half hour I was super sick. * 6 months later tried their other place off of 112th- sick again. So bummed I can't find any Mexican place to eat.

This was a good experience for me. I got a chicken enchilada with beans and rice. They replaced the flour tortilla with a corn tortilla. I did not feel sick after I ate this, and the food tasted good.

Excellent food and service. The staff is very knowledgeable about celiac. The only negative is that the tortilla chips are fried in a communal fryer.

The manager here is very serious about understanding and accommodating celiac disease and gluten intolerance. I have eaten here multiple times, as have my extremely sensitive family members, and we’ve had no issues. Here are the details: 1. I immediately ask for the manager when I arrive, greet him cheerfully, remind him who I am, and ask him to ensure my safety in his restaurant today. He is now guarding my food. 2. Shared fryer. Don’t bother ordering anything deep fried, including chips. He’ll offer to oven bake their house made corn tortillas for you. Thoughtful, but disgusting. 3. There’s no flour on the premises. Hooray! 4. They use the same press to heat corn and flour tortillas. For celiac, they line the press before using it. Once, I had cross contaminated tortillas delivered with my fajitas. They literally RAN to stop me from taking my first bite, and delivered me to only new tortillas, but another helping of fajita filling. 5. Their food is awesome. Go for dinner to get fresh tortillas straight off the grill where an abuelita is making them at the front of the restaurant. This is on no way an “I only eat here because I am gfree “ restaurant. It’s good for eating with your non gfree friends.

Stay away from nachos, not a dedicated fryer. Ordered enchiladas and didnt have any issues. Very good. They dont have a gluten free menu. Ask staff lots of questions, very helpful.
No gluten free indications in the menu as previous reviewers stated, they must’ve changed it. Staff was not knowledgeable. I would not recommend this placed for celiacs.
Our waitress was very knowable. Most important thing, I didn’t get sick! Food was very good and portions are great size.
I'm surprised the reviews are so good for this place. I went and ordered the chicken la crema with corn tortillas and ended up sick. The only thing I can think of is that it was from the chips. It's frustrating that the server said that everything was gluten free there (clearly not the case considering they serve flour tortillas). Seems like he really had no idea and that should have been my first sign to leave.

Awesome food! 98% of their menu is gluten free. Only flour tortillas and mole has gluten in it.

The staff was knowledgeable and explained the only gluten containing items in the restaurant other than the flour tortillas are alcoholic beverages.

They make their own corn tortillas. Best Mexican in Everett.
