What a wonderful, strange and unique place this is. I had the burger and fries. The homemade bun was better than anything I've had before. Almost everything is homemade and the ingredients are locally sourced. Appears to be family run but I could be wrong.

Celiac looking for lunch spot. This restaurant is dedicated gf. Burger and soup were tasty and homemade. Friendly service. I was able to have order packed up for takeout. I would recommend. I noticed frozen soups and food to go from freezer section.

I want to love this place but it’s always so dirty. And the menu is very limited. Their cookies are fabulous. The burger with GF bun is very good. We didn’t like the cinnamon bread. We had very good sandwiches here before the pandemic but they don’t offer a normal lunch any longer. I do want to try the chicken pot pie.

Extremely limited menu, but I absolutely loved the burger and fries I got. The kids had delicious soup and rice/beans/egg dish. Lovely little place.

We ate here for lunch yesterday. I had a hamburger with a gluten-free bun and fries. Everything was really good. The burger was a little salty so you might ask them to go light on the salt for sandwiches as my husband said his sandwich was salty too. Definitely worth a visit. :)

I really want to like this place, and I believe they are completely gluten free, but this place has a serious issue with hygiene. Both plates had issues including hair in the food.

Totally gluten free so no worries about cross contamination. They do a lot of to go orders via online orders with regular customers, as well as a specialty grocery. I ordered the veggie burger with a side of carrot soup and it was all delicious. Service was a bit slow due to the fact that they had so many dinner orders, but the food came out fast and the server was very friendly. Looks like a rotating menu of soups, salads, and special entrees.

Stopped on a road trip - the burger and fries were fantastic! One of the best gluten free buns and burger I've ever had. Fries were the best I've ever had and I watched the cook walk out and actually grab the potatoes from the fridge that were used.
Definitely a farm to table vibe, and service wasn't speedy, but the girl at the counter was very nice.
100% gluten free facility and so good - highly recommend.

Food is really good and most importantly, safe, but service is slow and one employee was always very rude.

Incredibly good food, celiac safe. 100% gluten free and caesin free. My non-GF friend went with me and was incredibly happy with his food as well. Prices were lower than expected. Staff is kind and talkative :)

The food is delicious! It is always great to eat safe (everything is GF)- and even better when the food is so good :)
I’ve had the bioregional salad and the chicken sandwich, both great lunch picks.
Service is friendly and the place is cute.
I’m thankful for this GF spot in Davis.

Everything is 100 percent gluten free!! Staff are extremely knowledgeable about C. The woman who works here used to work as a journalist and has written articles about the history of gluten and its harmful effects. I felt extremely safe here and the food is fresh and delicious. It’s funny, I attended college in Davis from 2008 to 2012 and never knew this place existed! I may have had undiagnosed Celiac back then (though I wasn’t diagnosed until 2020) and I wonder now if I had known about this restaurant at that time and talked to this lady about gluten and Celiac, whether I would’ve looked into getting a diagnosis much earlier than I ultimately did :/ I didn’t even know what celiac disease was at that time. anyways, wonderful restaurant highly recommended!

Awesome that this place is GFCF but it’s kind of grimy.

Food was amazing. Felt like I was back in my grandmas kitchen. Everything is gluten free and very fresh.

Wonderful small staff, fresh ingredient restaurant. I had a delicious hamburger and dairy free ice cream. Everything gluten free and dairy free. So good. Staff very knowledgeable about a variety of topics including food health

Excellent place. Food was delicious. Got the hamburger and the entire place is gluten free. Grabbed a cookie too and that was super tasty. They have pre-made meals to go. Glad to find food that is safe for celiacs. Locally sourced ingredients make my consciousness happy.

So good, but service can be slow at times. I always stopped here when I drove between the Bay Area and Sacramento. I’ve never been glutened here. The bio-regional salad is great, and does not need dressing. I order it without.

This was a very interesting place. If it did not say it was a gluten free restaurant I would be hesitant to eat there as a Celiac as there looks like there would be questions about cross-contamination. I ordered the bioregional salad—it was good tasting but I think they prepared it ahead of time as the greens were soggy and the olive oil in the dressing was solid. While it was made of tasty, farm fresh ingredients, it was a little pricey for the portion. The small salad is more of a side salad. While I was the only person ordering food and there were only two other people in the cafe together at the time (finishing their meal), it took about 25/30 minutes to be served the salad to go. They did not have to go forks. I went back and forth with giving this place 3 or 4 stars.

Everything in the store is gluten free. A great selection of frozen baked goods and dinners, plus fresh breads and dessert items. Lunch service is my favorite! Everything is so fresh and delicious, and ingredients change gently with the seasons. I love the burger and the chicken sandwich!

I haven't eaten year, but have bought groceries. They have great baked products (best GF Bagels I've had), bread, sandwich buns. And pie dough...Next time, I'm getting the pie dough to make my own pies.

Ate here twice with my family and celiac son. Both experiences were amazing! Dinner menu changes daily so you have to call ahead to check your options and reserve. We had a chicken piccata dinner the first time and a beef brisket dinner the second! We’ve also tried their hamburgers and cinnamon rolls! My son said it was the best burger he ever had! So thankful for places like this!

The persimmon pudding and Chicken pot pie were delicious!!

wow! place to sit, may want to check on menu.
DEDICATED GLUTEN FREE facility!!! The food is excellent, the menu changes almost daily due to buying local and in season. The pesto is amazing and the chicken sandwich is delicious!

Food is fantastic! It's more of an order in advance and pick up place though not so much a sit down place. They do lunch which is great, but dinner is kinda different. Skirt steak was the best I'd ever had with ravioli that were to die for. The lasagna had so much flavor and was delicious as well.

This place was perfect. Try the pie!

SO HAPPY to have a place which is 100% gluten free that offers pure, great tasting food with a staff that makes you feel like family. The peach pie was the best I've had GF or otherwise. As a student of UCD I will be here many more times. :) Completely celiac friendly! They'll even deliver!

Food is delicious. The owner is friendly and a pleasure to talk to. We ordered the organic black beans, and rice dish, and my daughter said "Mommy this food is so good I'm going to happy cry." :-) We will definitely be back!
Nice break from the norm and no awkward conversations about gluten.

this is a tasty burger
Great options. Sandwich, soup, and coffee were all delicious. It is an unique atmosphere- almost like visiting someone's home for lunch. Lots of great take home options too. I will definitely go back again.

We stopped here on our way through town because we have to eat gluten free and this looked perfect. Well, it was!! The breaded chicken pesto sandwich was delicious. The owners were very friendly and helpful. It's family owned and run and they actually care about providing quality food. Definitely worth checking out!

This was an awesome little non conventional place that accommodated me so well with very delicious safe food in a gluten free environment. Loved this experience. Call by noon to put in your order if possible but I called when a few miles away and they were great to accommodate me!!!

I am attending UC Davis this fall and I have been on the hunt for popular gluten free restaurants. So far this is the best one I have found 👍🏼👍🏼
So refreshing to have simple good food.. We had vegetarian lasagna with a side salad.. Also ordered carrot soup too. Talked to owner and they said they make their own pasta. So yummy!
Strange atmosphere, but delicious food & lots of GF options!

LOVED the Chicken Pesto sandwich! So many options I wished they were located in San Jose! Their commitment to quality products is impressive!

Delicious chicken panini sandwich. Others had delicious filling black bean chicken soup that had a lot of chicken in it. Was supposed to share sandwich and did not want to it was so good. They sell fresh bread, baguettes, and pasta. Would love to try their fixed dinner. The fresh bread was the best bread! The fresh pasta was so delicious. No after taste, not gummy. I was even able to reheat pasta and it was in its original shape and not stuck together.
Cafe is slow service, but really good food, all gf and casein free. Love the mushroom raviolis, croutons, panini bread. Worth a drive from sf bay area.
GET IN HERE! Run! Don't walk! Dedicated Gf baking facility & working kitchen for lunch or dinner. Homestyle, fresh & local, including fresh Gf pasta. I am blessed & amazed!
When I found out that I had Celiac disease, I was totally freaked out. I thought it was a curse, until a friend told me about Farmer's Kitchen in Davis. My fiance & I went in to check it out & we were amazed at how good the food is, & how knowledgeable they are. Granted, the service is slow, but everything they serve is homemade, which is why they are slow. Their breads are amazingly flavorful, & not dry like a lot of gluten free breads are. The pastas are great, & their pot pies are the best I have ever had. Fresh, local ingredients, make this place a favorite of mine. So much so that I asked them to make my birthday cake last week. It is the most moist, chocolatey, amazing chocolate cake with vanilla frosting I have ever had, & I know chocolate cake. So, check them out, give yourself at least an hour, & enjoy. Ask questions, check out their freezer for yummy ready to cook products, & relax. You won't be sorry!!!
Menu all gluten free, tasty but slow. Plan for plenty of Rome. Many take home items.
