When we checked in the hostess asked about allergies and I told her I had celiac, after that I didn’t have to mention it again. The communication between the staff was excellent. They had a wide selection of entrees that were either gluten free or could be made gluten free. We also got the mezza platter, they had gluten free pita (which was amazing) and the vegetables are usually cooked on a griddle that had risk of cross contamination, so they gave us the raw vegetables and the carrots were some of the best I’ve ever had! I’ve found that pretty much all restaurants at the four seasons hotels are very good with celiac disease.

Amazing dinner!! Upon checking in, the host asked if there were any food allergies in our party. I said I was Celiac. She asked if I could tolerate cross contamination. I said no. There were tons of options on the menu marked GF. I ordered the Vegan pizza with Cauliflower crust and substituted the vegan cheese for regular since I can do dairy. It took a little while because they cooked it in a separate oven. It was super delicious and waiter was so attentive and understanding of Celiac. Didn’t get sick! The view was amazing, wine selection great and wait staff was soooo attentive!! A keeper every time we’re in Maui!

One of our best meals on Maui, and we ate well for 8 nights! Very attentive staff, and very knowledgeable about GF/Celiac. Dedicated fryer. Numerous GF options. Absolutely no complaints. We ate after dark, but it would be a beautiful location for sunset. Definitely would return again!

Sat at the bar both now (November) and in July. In July the dedicated fryer was not working. This time the bartender told me they used to do that and they don’t anymore. I didn’t ask anyone else. But I was disappointed. Their meat and cheese plate is delicious. Served with good gf bread. I had gf clam pasta. Ok but not impressed. Dessert was almond cake with banana “nice”cream. It was also just ok. For the price, it’s not worth it, in my opinion. I’ve found better!!

Gf bread. Gf pasta. Dedicated fryer.

Gluten free pasta is available, and they brought me some toasted Udi’s bread alongside the normal focaccia for my husband. Our waitress seemed fairly knowledgeable about gluten free, but I was underwhelmed for the $40+ price tag on pasta entrees. Tbh, gluten free pasta is a dime a dozen these days (even in Maui it seems) so don’t go too far out of your way to come here.
No reaction though, and I’m a super sensitive celiac!

Absolutely beautiful setting at the Four Seasons in Maui overlooking the ocean. Great food, and several wonderful gluten free options, including fried calamari made in a dedicated fryer. Very careful, and the service was very friendly.

We stayed four nights and uncharacteristically blew the budget at high-end Weilea restaurants for dinner each night. This was the best meal by far, and the best options for our daughter who has Celiac. The waiter knew his stuff.
Yes
The staff was extremely celiac knowledgeable! Food was delicious- fried calamari and pasta both celiac safe.
Yes
Great food and service. Asked of any allergies when we checked in and notified server. Even asked if cross contamination was an issue and when they brought food out would say “GF no cross contamination”. Had bread for the table and gluten free pasta. I had a shrimp pasta in a white wine sauce. Very good meal and service.

The staff was excellent about allergies and food restrictions! I made sure to tell the staff and still ask my follow up questions but they were very confident they could accommodate a severe celiac. Great, healthy options! Leaving full and happy!

Well aware of celiac, with any doubt the servers will ask the chef. They have a dedicated fryer I was so excited I had the calamari appetizer for the first time in 3 years. They made my delicious mahi-mahi sandwich without the bread with grilled veggies and French fries. Super yummy, I will be back to stay at this lovely resort and restaurant.

While our waiter was aware of Celiac & cross-contamination, there was definitely a disconnect between him and his supportive staff who actually delivered the food (they need additional training). Bread was set directly in front of my daughter who is a Celiac contaminating her napkin with crumbs. My daughter (Celiac) ordered adult portion of GF pasta. My niece (not Celiac) ordered the spaghetti & meatballs. Meals delivered. They placed spaghetti & meatballs in front of daughter, I questioned "are the meatballs GF?" Response from staff "yes". My daughter was thrilled, but the meatballs were on listed as being GF on the menu & the pasta the meatballs were served with was spaghetti and the GF pasta was a different shape. My issue here was, if the server didn't know, she should have checked & not just assumed or guessed; clearly training is lacking in the ancillary department . There is no excuse! It was caught by me, but when you are paying $30 for a plate of GF pasta and our total dinner bill was easily upwards of $300-400, I should not have had to have my radar on IMO. Would not go back for that reason alone in addition to lobster at $110 being fair at best & Hawaiian Snapper dish $49 being just ok. Have had much better food & service (sat 15-20" with dirty plates in front of us & had to seek someone out to clear the table) during our stay.

Staff was very knowledgable. Many options. Expensive, but worth it for setting and plentiful GF options. Had a great meal.

Expansive gluten free menu. Staff and kitchen very careful about cross contamination.

Pricey - but you're paying for beach-front view. Wait staff very accommodating of allergies. New oil for fries, too. : )
