The bread and dessert have gluten otherwise everything thing else on the limited menu is safe. The fish is amazing. We love the outdoor dining in the summer.

Fitzgeralds has been a staple in my family for decades. Door county style fish boil, with options for BBQ chicken or ribs. The only gluten on the premises is the rye bread or the apple pie, which is baked off site. They use tongs for the bread and keep everything separate so there is essentially no chance of cross contamination. The owner has celiac disease as well so the staff fully understands how to keep celiacs safe. Been here a hundred times and have never gotten sick! I can’t recommend it enough.

One of the owners is gluten free and the staff understands what gluten free is. This place is all you can eat with a very limited menu: fish boil, bbq chicken, ribs, boiled potatoes and onion, rye bread, and apple pie. The rye bread and apple pie are obviously not gluten free, but hey are made off sight in a bakery, all the other food is made outside. All the other food is gluten free. As long as you do not get the apple pie or rye bread, there is no chance for cross contamination.

My daughter is celiac and extremely sensitive. We've been here many times and my daughter has never had any problems. Thank you to the management for keeping people like my daughter safe.
