Informed staff of gluten allergy/celiac but I believe cross contamination occurred causing sickness. We won’t be back to this location

Great experience! I have celiac and they accommodated to my needs by switching gloves for preparing the lettuce wrapped burger!
Yes
Very courteous service every time. My wife with celiac has eaten here safely several times now. As others have said they ask if it's an allergy and tell the kitchen. Good food and good celiac-safe service. My favorite part is that when you order a bunless regular burger or cheeseburger (don't know if this applies to the lettuce wraps) they give you an extra patty, so you don't end up 'missing out' because you lost the bun. This is our go-to burger place now.
Yes
Always kind service! every time I order "without" bun the immediately ask if it is due to an allergy and when I say yes the person at the register communicates that to the kitchen right away. everyone dealing with that order changes their gloves and that order is bagged separately. Every time. without fail. never a mistake, never a problem. And their fries are gluten free so it is a huge hit to go here!
Wife has Celiac & we've eaten here without any problems 4-5 times.
Five Guys does a great job at the corporate level of training everyone on a culture of celiac awareness. This location is no different.
As soon as you order "no bun", they immediately ask if it's for an allergy. Then everyone in the kitchen changes gloves to prep the food. They also package/bag it separately from everything else in the order. The staff has been friendly & accommodating about the request every time.

One of my favorite burger places. The first time I came in and placed my order, Bacon Cheese Burger no bread, I was asked if it was an allergy. I answered yes and it was relayed to the workers. This lead to everyone that was touching my order to have fresh gloves on each time. This made me extremely happy and each time I have been back the same thing happens. Everything taste wonderful and the fries are especially good. If I want a good burger and fries this is one of my first choices.
Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
