love this place, go at least twice a month. my boyfriend usually orders while I grab a table. mention gluten allergy (even though it's not an actual allergy, the word allergy gets more recognition than celiac) typically then they will ask if you want a wrap or a bowl. it's delicious! plus, the staff is so friendly, especially the young blonde guy with a ponytail.
amazing celiac friendly, just tell them you're gluten free so they can make your stuff on a designated with station

Never have a problem getting safe food at any of the five guys locations. Their staff training techniques are impressive!
Ask for a "lettuce wrap" burger-- they might not understand till you ask but it's worth it! Makes eating much easier. Fries are delicious!
Asked manager if the fries are gluten free. He said no. I sent an e-mail to the company asking the same question and I have not heard back. It has been 3 weeks.
Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
