Never been sick here. The GM José always makes sure the staff is educated on the procedure for allergy to gluten. They always switch gloves and use separate grills for me here. Plus they’re super nice about it. Love this staff! (:

Had a burger and fries here with my own bun. The manager came to the register and wrapped it in foil and packed my food separate from everyone else. I had no reaction at all. Plus it was delicious.

Always depend on Five Guys...for safe, GF options. According to guidelines, fries never come in contact with bread/gluten. Rolls are toasted on separate grill.... advise them of gluten allergy and this location took great care,..thank you!!

Decided to try because I heard they make burgers with lettuce “buns”. As soon as I told the person ringing us up that I wanted lettuce instead of a bun she said “preference or allergy?” It was on the receipt, she told everyone cooking, and they were just so great. It was pretty delicious. I didn’t have a single reaction of any kind. Excited!

Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
