** Reviews are for fries only**
2/20/24 Got a large order of the cajun fries only, very good but i liked the fries without seasoning better. No symptoms after.
10/2/23My non-celiac husband was getting a burger and fries, and based off of the other reviews, I decided to try the fries myself. The employees were super friendly. I ordered 1 order of the little fries not seasoned- they were phenomenal! I did not get sick

I watched them prep the GF burgers and they do a very good job of avoiding cross contamination. Good protocols in place. If you are unsure watch the prep.
Yes
Their burgers are so good and you can get them on a lettuce wrap, which I'm fairly certain they make on a piece of foil so there is no cross-contamination risk. The best GF fries too (although I'm not sure if the cajun seasoning is GF). As far as I can tell, there is nothing on the menu that they fry that contains gluten, so fries should be fine.
Yes
very big risk of cross contamination. dont really have gluten free options... except fries
No
Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
