They were really nice when I told them I had Celiac and immediately informed me of what they could do. He immediately washed hands and changed gloves. They said they didn’t have a separate fryer for fries, but I’m not sure they fry anything else for there to even be gluten for cross contamination in the oil. He told me that they only have one griddle that they cook the meat on and they toast the buns on it too. So there was no way for a burger to be not cross contaminated. I appreciated them letting me know. I went ahead and ordered a bun less burger bc it was my first week after celiac diagnosis so I knew I wasn’t going to get sick. It came in a little basket with all the toppings and came in its own separate bag from my family’s food. I wouldn’t eat here if you have Celiac, but if you are gluten free, they were very accommodating.

Friendly personnel, understaffed and overworked.. bathrooms were either closed (women) or filthy (men). Feel bloated after eating a burger in lettuce roll. Meat was average. Will NOT go to this 5guys again

Five guys is always awesome.
their fries are GF according to this document. us_ingredient_allergenguide_2014-1.pdf
I told them I had a gluten allergy and ordered the bunn less burger. I asked if the fries were gluten free and was told yes. They triggered a migraine which I always get when I come in contact with gluten and digestive issues. My boyfriend checked out another website and it stated their fries contain gluten. I specifically asked the customer service rep and stated Id get sick. I certainly wont go back.

When you ask for yoyr burger bunless, they put your burger in a lettuce bowl so the cheese and other toppings does not stick to the foil. They are very understanding and accommodating.
They always put the cheese on meat, then add lettuce, tomato, & onion. That way most of the cheese isn't stuck to the foil. They will even bring your order to your table. Run much better than store near Tiffany Springs. Great food & competent, efficient, friendly, helpful staff!
Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
