GF fries were great! I also ordered a burger with a lettuce wrap. At first, I wasn't sure if the cashier who took our order understood the allergy issue, but then she said "I got you" and that she would tell the cooks, which was reassuring. :) :) :) When I got the burger, though, there was nothing on it--no condiments, pickle, tomato, etc. Just a small, plain burger inside lettuce. This was my first time at Five Guys and I didn't know what to expect. Of course, ketchup was available and I asked for some mustard. Next time I'll be more specific when I order (if they're willing to add condiments that haven't been cross-contaminated). I haven't noticed any symptoms.

Gluten free fries in dedicated fryer Took a burger in wrapped in lettuce. Good. But for the same price, I like better SeoulSpice because not junkfood.

GF fries! No GF buns, but we were perfectly happy without. No reaction from two of us with celiac. Easy meal for tourists in DC!

delicious, juicy burgers with the option of wrapping it in lettuce or on a bed of lettuce. fries were crisp and tasty. when we asked if fries were g free they were unsure but the manager went to his office and looked it up to confirm that they were. he apologized for the delay but I thanked him for checking instead of just taking the easy way out and saying "yes!".
Awesome GF fries - we ordered without seasoning.
Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
