Beware! Under new management that doesn't understand what gluten free is. They tried to tell my husband that all of their buns were gluten free. They DO NOT carry gluten free buns. Of course we already knew this but my husband was trying to find out just how much they understood about gluten free. Obviously zero!
The staff was very aware of cross contamination and was not annoyed with our concerns! Five stars for Five Guys! Good for Celiac! Thank you!!

Got our burgers in bowls. Let them know we have a gluten allergy. No problems at all.
Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
