Cleaner than the average Five Guys. Cashier used my order to train staff on how to properly avoid cross contamination. Bowl or lettuce wrap only (no GF bun). Fryers are always gluten free.

I have Celiac Disease and ordered a little cheeseburger with a lettuce wrap in place of the bun. I explained I had a wheat allergy (I know it technically isn’t with celiac disease, just easier to explain so I choose to explain it that way) and they put *ALLERGY* on our ticket with my order. The woman who took my order told the The entire staff preparing the food and they all changed their gloves and made my cheeseburger seperate from all the other ones! Even bagged it in its own bag! The fries at 5 guys are also gluten free, because they only fry French fries in the fryer! I had a great meal and did not get sick!

Loved my lettuce wrapped cheeseburger. Their fryer is only used for their fries. So it's gluten free. They hollered back allergy when I ordered. I felt save eating here.

I'm surprised by the one negative review below. Maybe an inexperienced employee or the rush of lunch. We arrived at 11:30 before the lunch rush. Ordered burgers on lettuce wrap. Gluten allergy was announced to the line workers and gloves changed. Fries are GF in dedicated fryer. Would return again.

Honestly the worst 5 guys I have ever been to. First I ordered and he tried telling me everything is gluten free so I can eat the bun which I know isn't true. Got it bunless, wouldn't mark it gluten free. Watched it made, gloves never changed and touched by multiple people who touched bread. Husband ate it because I wouldn't.

Great service! I ordered the bacon cheeseburger in a lettuce wrap with fries and it was very good. Right after I placed the order, the cashier announced my allergy and order to the rest of the staff. I then saw them all change gloves and clean their prep areas.

They use a dedicated fryer for the fries.
The burger was great. I ordered it without a bun and the guy asked me if I had an allergy. When I said yes, he offered me a lettuce wrapped burger. I was really impressed because I didn’t say anything; he asked me.

Went last night. Mentioned celiac, they asked if they needed to change gloves, and the man behind the counter taking our order yelled to the others doing prep to change gloves. We got lettuce-wrapped burgers and a large Cajun fry and my husband (the celiac) did not get sick. He is a very sensitive celiac even if it's just cross contact, so we were happy they took good care of us here.

They made me a little nervous, but I ordered separately and watched the whole time they cooked. We brought a bun. It worked out but be careful.

Only had the fries, but they were very accommodating to change gloves and put directly into the bag. Would definitely recommend for a quick snack.
Ordered the French fries and instructed the staff I was allergic to bread/gluten and they made sure of the cross contamination risk. Very sensitive celiac and had no reaction.
This was my first time trying five guys. It was awesome! of coarse I got the cheeseburger without the bun. They prepare the patties on 1 grill. So no cross contamination. They put it in its own container with all the sides. They only have fries in the fryers. I had a great lunch that tastes awesome for around $7. I didn't get sick. I'll recommend this place. If you've been to in n out burger, this tops them. And I was pretty adamant about how good in n out is. Try it. You'll be happy u did. And I have celiac.

Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
