Best gluten free treats I have ever tasted. Light, flavorful, and delicious! We had the 12 pk chocolate, lemon coconut, and pumpkin spice mini cupcakes.

The chocolate chip cookies were amazing! I also got a loaf of bread which was pretty good. We got there right before closing so I didn’t want to inconvenience them with making me a sandwich. Definitely worth checking out!

Amazing gluten free food, but the front of house needs to work on customer service. I will be back again, but make sure you get a receipt because multiple people in my party were over charged.

I get their bread for my son and I’ve ordered their sandwiches on several occasions. The meatloaf sandwich is the best.

Discovered this at a farmers market in SF, and was assured everything is celiac friendly, prepared in dedicated facility (heads up, some products contain oat flour). They gave me a bunch of samples, and each was yummy — can’t wait to return every week they’re here!

Note: I bought their cornmeal pancake mixed and noticed it says processed in a facility with wheat. I did not feel comfortable eating it and am reaching out to the bakery about their processing protocol.

Wonderful treats. Just wish they'd supply scones and more boule (the olive kind) at the South Bay farmers markets. I stopped going to the markets because they stocked the same things and never scones nor enough of what I want.:-(

I visit Novato yearly, and a visit to this bakery is always on my list! They have divine little cakes and wonderful bread.

It’s not Fall until you have their pumpkin cake - they are the best, gluten free and dairy free or not! Been scouting these jewels out a couple weekends a month at the Campbell Farmers Market while they are around. Love that I don’t have to worry about being glutened. Thanks for your amazing work!

My husband has Celiac's and we live in Novato. He is highly sensitive and the fact that they only do gluten free so there is no chance of cross contamination is huge. They also have several yummy dairy free options. Flour Chylde is our go to place for special occasions or any time we want to share a sweet treat. The rest of the family loves it too. I highly recommend.

Sandwiches are meh but everything else is great! Dedicated facility so no cross contamination!

In my experience, it's hard to find a gluten-free bakery that does both sweet and savory equally well; these may involve different skill sets or perhaps just preferences. But Flour Chylde Bakery offers kick-ass baguette and rustic bread loaves as well as juicy and moist fritters with fruit: not too sweet, flavorful.

The best thing, in addition to taste, though, is the texture: They get it as right as it gets!

Dedicated gluten free but not sure why it's not labeled that on this app! Had a toasted sesame bagel with almond "cream cheese"-first bagel in 10 years (I'm GF and DF so wouldn't normally bother with a bagel since no fun without the cream cheese!) it was heavenly! Panini style sandwiches are delicious. Pumpkin loaf is addictive. Friendly staff. Love!

I love this place. Great bread, baguettes, sandwiches, and a few choices for those of us who are dairy free as well. Staff used to be a little surly at times, but as of late, they have been super nice and pleasant.

Haven't tried the sandwiches but the coffee cake and fritters are the best. Unfortunately the staff that has been there the couple of times I have been there make you feel less than welcome otherwise this would be a five star review.

Very expensive and plain sandwich, don't recommend cold sandwich to go! Pricey sweets and breads. No nearby parking including in back. Cashier slightly rude, impatient sorry we drove 2 hours to visit!

Their cakes rival the best non-GF cakes out there. Moist with a great crumb. Such a treat. They also have a stand at the Sunday San Rafael farmer's market.
