Manager knew about celiac and went out of his way to prepare my daughters food. Chicken and seasoned chicken are celiac safe as are the rices, beans and even the chips! Steak and prime rib were not celiac safe.

Beware - the reviews on here are for Freebirds all around the country. The one in Richardson, TX didn't have a clue. The best they could do for us was mention they had corn tortillas. We asked how they would serve them to us and they said with whatever we wanted. No suggestions were given. This was after the girl taking the order got flustered and asked a co-worker for help. We were not offered any gluten free menu and the staff acted like they could care less if they helped us or not. We left without ordering.

The management here has gone down completely. No one knows what gluten is and I watched them cross contaminate every single thing on the serving bar today a guy with gloves on that it just touched the tortilla grabbed the chicken that had fallen all over the line and put it back with his hands. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE CELIAC.

They couldn't understand that I needed clean gloves. In fact, everytime I said I need fresh gloves. I'm gluten-free. They tried to give me a low Carp tortilla but when I asked if it was gluten-free, they didn't know. They finally were able to determine which products were gluten-free. And then proceeded to give me cheese by reaching into the container as opposed to using the spoon. So there is quite a bit of cross-contamination. At this location, it's went downhill.

Daughter is celiac. We have been many times and they have an allergy chart posted for them to see. Only chicken is GF (other meats are not) but my daughter loves it in a bowl! They washed hands and changed gloves. She has not have any symptoms of being glutened.
I asked for the gluten-free menu and ordered chicken on salad. I still got glutened. I suspect that they prepare all the food on the same surface. The employees seemed pretty clueless about what gluten intolerance means.
