They went to the back to check on ingredients multiple times. They cleaned and cooked my daughter’s food first to prevent cross contamination. They were even worried about the rice and switched it with cucumber.

Had all my favorites with Tamari (gluten free soy sauce ). Yummy and fresh.
Although the staff seemed aware of gluten allergies, as they termed it, and even had gf soy sauce which was used on my order, the chef cooked my vegetables alongside some noodles and used the same spatula to go back and forth. So more training is needed as far as cross-contamination! This may not be a problem if your whole table is gf, but we were sharing the grill with strangers who were not.

If you have Celiacs make sure they understand and cook your food in the back w GF sauces. I mentioned needing GF and the Chef was going to cook my food without the sauces after the grill had been contaminated w noodles. After talking w him and the server they were more than happy to cook my food in the back. I had the hibachi chicken and shrimp with a salad and no dressing ( waitress said dressing was not GF) . She offered me Miso soup but I didn't eat. I did not have a gluten reaction
