Waitress was very nice and tried to help with my celiac problem. A dedicated gluten free menu was not available.

They went out of their way to accommodate not only my gluten allergy but my dairy allergy too!!!!
ASK FOR MEGAN! She is vegan and veryyyy educated on everything with gluten and dairy and super friendly and helpful!!
Only bad side is that they have a shared fryer for waffle fries and chicken nuggets :( but they have their own separate gluten free menu!

Granite City has an extensive gluten free menu. I have Celiac Disease, and I had no issues eating the flatbread pizza or burgers with gluten free bread. I also ordered chicken wings for an appetizer and the sauces are gluten-free. It was delicious!

4 stars for service, smiles, and total knowledge of the staff, in regards to gluten free, low carb offerings.
According to the Kitchen Manager, gluten free is difficult to purchase, and it often is more expensive. thus a gf pizza or flat bread dish costs more, and people need to expect that.
Since only 1.4% of the population have celiac disease,
there is not the demand, and wholesale food suppliers
charge more, much more, and the customer at a restaurant need to expect that.
My recent experience was fine... because I know prices are higher.; My flat bread pizza was great.

Menu was very restricted. They not had wings listed as gf but they are fried in a common fryer. Bonus points for the staff who offered that info and brought me veggies and ranch (which they confirmed was gf). Much appreciated but sad they reduced the menu.
GC used to have a kickass gluten free menu. That has changed. The menu now has 8 items. 4 salads, chicken wings, and 3 burgers. No fish, no chicken, no sandwiches, no steaks. Their gluten free sides are no longer listed. The best french fry substitute (in my opinion), the baked potato, has also been removed. I eat A LOT of salad being gluten free and don't understand why that continues to be the only option. I expressed my distress to the waitress and she replied with "I just work here". So their staff isn't well trained either. Pizza hut has more gluten free options, and they deliver.

The waiter was clueless about the Gluten free menu and became more irritated with each question I asked. He cut me off and said "well I don't have to worry about gluten so I have no clue." Horrible service and wouldn't recommend it. Their chips are fried in a shared fryer even though the menu says otherwise.

They have a great GF menu with lots of options. They frequently run out of their GF buns, but I managed to get one with a cheeseburger a few days ago and it was great!! They have a GF pizza crust for their flatbreads that isn't on the GF menu. It is a good crust. I have celiac and have never gotten sick from eating here.

Granite City has a new gluten free menu with a nice selection.
Granite city no longer offers a gluten free menu and they will not tell you if their sauces contain gluten. I just had a very frustrating and embarrassing lunch with friends because I was completely caught off guard with their lack of menu options.
They did not have a GF menu. They sometimes have gf options available ; buns and flatbread. But they were out of all of it when there. I was suppose to trust my teenage server what was gluten free or not. I’m not going back!!

Disappointed. This location did not have the Gluten Free Flat Bread; waitress said it had been a couple months since they had it. I also have issues with vegetable washes and their salad greens are all prewashed, so that was out. Waitress was nice and helpful, but little to eat for me. Ended up with a Bison Burger, with cheese, skipped the GF Bun and toppings. If you want a burger, salad, or a lettuce wrapped sandwich, you will be ok. Sides are a challenge. Waitress was helpful in identifying what was safe to eat.

I had a sandwich with a gluten-free bun (it’s not in the menu but the waiter immediately knew that they have one) and a soup that had no gluten. The overall experience was really good and I had no problems afterward.

Ate here last night and had no after effects. Server was very helpful. I had the Salmon and even though it is naturally gf she had it marked gf so they would know to clean the grill before making it for me. Rice pilaf and asparagus were my sides. No dedicated fryer but many other options can be made gf. They do have gf buns too. Did not flag as gf but it came out separately and the server said that it was the gf salmon before handing to me.

I ordered off the GF menu. I ordered the Bleu Peppercorn Burger, with a side of rice, and drank it down with a Flying Monkey. Then I got so sick I vomited it all up. Not sure what happened, but of course I’ll never eat here again.
