My daughter has celiac so we are cautious of cross contamination. Unfortunately this site no longer has dedicated friers in spite of what it declares on the website and reviewa, the only kids meal side options are salads.

According to their website, all fryers on-site are dedicated GF, so we tried the fries from the snack bar within the pool area of the resort. They were delicious and did not cause a reaction for me or my daughter (both celiac). I can’t speak to the rest of the menu, but it was safe for a quick snack. My only complaint is that while their website discusses their GF fryer and practices, the menus themselves for some eateries on the property aren’t labeled as such. For example, I really wanted to order the chicken fingers for my kids, but they weren’t labeled as safe (even though the website says they are), so I didn’t feel comfortable ordering them incase this location didn’t follow the practices listed online. My recommendation is to call ahead for clarification. It would be AMAZING if they labeled allergen info more thoroughly.

Servers were amazing but food was absolutely terrible. I have come here three or four times since 2019 and the food started out amazing and has been more disappointing ever since. I got the salmon and it came with potatoes that were not fully cooked (but apparently came that way), and frozen lima beans and corn with uncooked onions. They swapped my uncooked potatoes with boxed mashed potatoes. It was the worst and most expensive meal I have ever had. I am not going there again.
As a side note- I have celiac and have never gotten sick here so if you have no other options, I do consider it safe.

Got the GF pizza from “Hungry as a wolf”. We expected it to be over priced, and it was: $20 for a 10” pizza. Way more than anywhere else. It was by far the worst gf pizza we’ve had, including frozen. The crust pre-cooked and the cheese and toppings were very sparse. Lots of sauce which was bland and sweet. All pizzas are cooked at another location and brought in. It looked like they were cooked in back, but that’s not a kitchen area.
If you want pizza, go across the street buffalo bills. It was great and $18 for a 12” with the same toppings.
No one got sick, so I guess that’s a plus.

Must stop in at the Lodge Wood Fired Grill. They have dedicated fryers! One was DF/GF, one GF, and one for regular food. I had the fried calamari and it’s the best dinner I have had in awhile. I called ahead to talk to the head chef and he was extremely knowledge, as he has a best friend with celiac. He was able to tell me that they used Red Mills GF flours! The serve was also expecting me and was extremely aware of my condition. I would go back in a heartbeat!

The main restaurant was great. Lots of GF items and knowledgeable staff. But if you want food at the waterpark, you’re out of luck. It would be nice if there were GF options for poolside dining or thru the app

Stayed at Great Wolf Lodge for the weekend. Ate at the Wood Fired Grill for two dinners and a breakfast. GF items marked on dinner menu and there were many options. Had fried calamari (they have a dedicated deep fryer), wings, steak and roasted chicken. All very good but would highly recommend the calamari. Breakfast did not have options listed on menu and I had to ask - they made me gluten free pancakes which were great and cleaned the griddle off too. Bear Paw Sweets and Eats offers gluten free pizza (which I did not try). Overall lots of great options and food was tasty. My only complaint is that I emailed the hotel a week prior to our stay to ask about gf options and no one got back to me. But once we were there, staff was very accommodating.

I wish I could add more stars! Gf items marked. Separate fryer for gf items. Gf chicken wings! Get ribs. Fries! Gf buns. Great service. Chef came out to speak with me.
Prices a bit high but worth it.
I’d give this place three stars for food quality and five stars for how celiac friendly it was. The staff was knowledgeable and careful about contamination. There was a decent range of choices. I had a cheeseburger with gf bun and fries from their dedicated fryer, and it tasted fine. My non-celiac family members thought the food was rather ho hum, but it was convenient since we were at the water park. Server was extremely nice and attentive and service was fast but we were there in low season. Highly recommend if you want a gf meal while at Great Wolf Lodge.

The staff was very knowledgeable on Gluten Free food for Celiacs. The chef actually came out and told me what they have and told me to not use the syrup for my GF waffle because it could have touched someone’s pancakes. She delivered a separate container with syrup. Also told me the potatoes come pre-seasoned so they made me French fries instead for my breakfast potato. Definitely will come back to this place for breakfast when in the Dells.

Wow!!!! We had the BEST experience! Not only was the lodge outstanding but the GF options were even better! Our server was VERY knowledgeable! There were several GF options clearly noted on the menu. The chicken strips and French fries were GF, there is a designated frier that is GF!
Yes
Staff was very knowledgeable about the GF options. They even had GF pancakes! They kept all GF food separate and allowed for modifications for items that didn't normally come GF. The cook even came out to explain which ones were GF. Loved it and will definitely recommend going!
Yes
Staff was knowledgeable. Sevaeral options. GF options clearly identified on the menu. Good food.

Did not have a good experience at the restaurant inside the resort. The waiter had no knowledge of the gluten free options indicated on the menu. I requested to speak with the chef. She appeared less interested in speaking with me and didn’t explain anything. I ordered a salad but didn’t take a bite after it was brought out on the same tray as the rest of my family’s (who aren’t celiac) directly next to the burger and breaded chicken sandwich. The waiter never asked what was wrong with my salad as it sat untouched at the end of the table. They also charged me for the untouched salad (14.99). For a place that brags about being gluten friendly I was highly disappointed. Will stay at the wilderness resort for less money and eat at other local restaurants in the future. I do not recommend this resort if celiac.
Had a wonderful experience eating breakfast here this morning. After talking to our waiter, he sent out the Chef (Karen, I believe) to speak with us. We explained to her that our son had Celiac disease and she gave him his options and even said she’d make little of everything if he wanted. He ended up with a big plate of eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns and pancakes. All gluten free and prepared separately. He loved the food and we loved the special attention and extra care he was given.

Decided to try the main restaurant for dinner since there were so many positive reviews. My son and I felt sick about an hour after eating. We’re moderately sensitive to cross contamination and I think the fryer was the culprit. I only had French fries and Brussels sprouts. Plus, the food wasn’t even good. Try Buffalo Phil’s across the parking lot. They had great GF pizza that was actually GF!
No
Celiac. Separate fryer. Almost everything on the menu can be made gluten free. The food is ok....but seemed safe. No reaction. Even the family style breakfast that we got with the room can be made gluten free.
Yes
The chicken fingers are AMAZING!! The French fries are really good too. Great pancakes and waffles. Breakfast potatoes are very good too. Highly recommend this place. Just don't order the pizza as it's terrible. I am highly sensitive celiac and did not get sick.
Yes
There are lots of gf options. Separate frier and the chef came out to speak to us. The waffle was not good, but safe. The server was horrible. She pointed at my daughter who has celiac and said "sorry your food came out late, it was her fault because of that gluten free thing". She's 11 and was here with friends. It's not bad enough for a preteen to have to special order, but just horrible for an adult to treat her that way. Safe food that doesn't taste great, and horrible service. Hopefully it was an anomaly.

Eat at the Lodge Wood Fired Grill! Their entire menu can be made gluten free! Even fried foods!! They have a separate frier and gf batter. The gf waffles were delicious! The waitress was very helpful and knowledgeable! Definitely recommend!
My daughter loved the gluten free cheeseburger and we all loved the gf family style breakfast. Gf batter for chicken fingers and onion strings. Yum
The Lodge Wood Fired Grill was very accommodating. I had 2 dinners & a breakfast with no reaction, & I'm super sensitive.
The Loose Moose is another disappointing restaurant. No decent options for kids, and they charge extra for any substitution. Bear Tracks Sweets does NOT carry gluten-free items any longer. The one bright star is the Camp Critter Breakfast buffet, which will make you gluten free waffles and pancakes upon request, in the kitchen on dedicated equipment.
No
For the morning buffet talked with chef. She made me GF pancakes omelet and cereal.
