The most recent review is incorrect. Let your server know and they have many gluten free options and did an excellent job making sure everything was safe. The owner (I think he was the owner?) Came to our table and explained everything that was safe or that could be made safe. The chicken souvlaki is outstanding. The non-celiacs loved the gyros and pastichio. Everything was outstanding and authentic and can't wait to visit again!

Reported to have gluten free items, but did not have any options, so please be warned!!! Seems like they discontinued their gluten free menu, but it didn’t get updated here.

They have a separate gluten-free menu with items ranging from appetizers to desserts. Very accommodating.

The best indicator of a restaurant's popularity, despite your stomach's growling, is the length of their line at dinner. As this is the case every night at Greek Islands Restaurant, be sure to book a reservation or be ready to wait. Operating in the same location for the past 26 years, Greek Islands Restaurant has an entire gluten-free menu loaded with favorites from Greece.
Call ahead for GF saganaki (flaming cheese). Excellent! The Pork Souvlaki is melt in your mouth tender and juicy and wonderful. The chicken souvlaki, florini's and rice pudding are also excellent. This is one of our fave places.

So grateful we found this restaurant thru find Me GF app. They were so conscientious making sure I got a GF meal that even with dessert they were still checking all of the labels on the ingredients. It was so delightful to find a homegrown restaurant on your list with such a delicious meal. we had the daily special which was a Tri meat skewer with the tazani sauce, Greek green beans, salad and potatoes. plenty of food for two average adults. we also enjoyed the rice pudding &chocolate covered gelato. Yum!

One of the biggest pluses is that they have a separate Gluten Free menu and the staff went to extra lengths to make sure there was as little chance of cross contamination as possible.
As with any restaurants, you have to have one of their popular dishes, and the Saganaki was it. Plus, it provided a mini show. The Chicken Souvlaki was good. It was almost two much food. The Gyros and the lamb chops looked excellent. I only wish that they didn't have flour and I could enjoy the taste of the dishes.
I would recommend making reservations on Saturday night. This isn't your large chain restaurant, so they don't have as many tables as say a Bob Even's. I would also double check if the Colts are in town because of their proximity to Lucas Oil Stadium, traffic could be an issue.

Very gluten friendly, special menu and they make gluten free saganaki special and have red bridge beer.
