Waiter basically told me everything has a risk of cross contamination and couldn’t guarantee gluten free. Even the margarita I ordered said might have had previous contamination.

The waiter was knowledgeable. I had steak, crab and asparagus with bearnaise sauce. The waiter validated with the chef. They also told me the sticky toffee was made in an area that could have cross contamination and advised against it. Very knowledgeable and caring.

I was glutened here. I told them in advance I was celiac. The waiter suggested a dish saying I could have it “if you are just a little bit celiac”. The first red flag. There was no GF menu. He told me the salmon was gluten-free so I ordered it. It came with a sauce, and because I had already had a drink I didn’t notice. I can only assume he didn’t tell the chef and I got a flour sauce. It was the only place I ate at on my trip, I took my own food otherwise.
