I ordered take out and wrote “gluten allergy” in the comment section. They labelled my box of sushi gluten free, and put in a cup of gluten free soy sauce as well. This made me feel very safe since my roommate had ordered a box of sushi as well (not gf). Overall I’m very impressed, I’m a super sensitive celiac and didn’t get sick, and it’s the best sushi I’ve had since moving down here!

They can make many of the dishes gluten free. They have a real chef, trained and aware of how to work with allergies. I’ve eaten at this place 3 times now and leave satisfied. I’ve had no reaction. Explain that you need to eat gluten free, then order what you want; the waitress will check with the chef and let you know if this can be made safety. They even have gluten free soy sauce. The food is freshly made and everything I’ve ordered has been delucious.

Ate here with my job. I ordered my meal online and put Gluten Free in the notes. They called be very quickly saying what I ordered wasn't gluten free and immediately offered an alternative and it was delicious. I ordered Teriyaki Chicken (I'm new to this haha) and then made me hibachi chicken seasoned very well as an alternative. Also everything was labeled gluten free so I am sure they cooked it separately to avoid cross contamination and I received a side of GF soy sauce. Great experience ordering online!

I often get delivery from Hokkaido and I have a lot of confidence in their gf protocols. One time I decided to change my order and added a roll I hadn’t had before. The restaurant called me immediately and let me know they couldn’t make it gf (it’s apparently deep fried) and to see what I wanted to switch it for. They send gf soy sauce with the order. I sometimes order a roll that normally comes with a crab stick and I ask them to substitute for shrimp and they always accommodate that request. Plus we just think it tastes better than all the other options!

I ate twice here with no issues (manager and kitchen staff are trained to avoid cross contamination).
The third time, I found a small piece of fried tempura within my edamame, and I was left vomiting profusely.
They apologized, and refunded the order, and said they were going to retrain the kitchen staff to make sure this doesn’t happen in the future, but I would still beware.

The server took care of me, and introduced me to a few yummy gf options I wouldn’t have otherwise ordered.

The wait staff was knowledgeable and patient. They let me ask all the questions that celiacs have to ask and they answered them all. The food was delicious and fresh & they had tasty GF soy sauce. I felt great afterwards. I’m returning today for more!! Edit: I’ve eaten here about 20 times since my review. I’m a very sensitive celiac and have never had a reaction. Plus, it’s delicious and fresh!!

We tried this restaurant last night after seeing other positive reviews on the Find Me GF app. My husband has Celiac Disease and we were looking for a new restaurant to try. We were so impressed! Our waitress was very knowledgeable about what he could have on the menu and they even had gf soy sauce. Our meals and sushi rolls were amazing. We even ordered more because the food was that good. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. For us, this will now be a go to restaurant. We can’t wait to go again!

Definitely recommend. Told my waitress about my allergy and she immediately knew what I could and couldn’t have on the menu. She told the kitchen and they brought out gluten free soy sauce. Also knew I couldn’t have the salad dressing because it has soy sauce and said she could give it to me with ranch. Super friendly staff. And didn’t get sick!

Amazing meal! Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly even while being super busy. Things are not marked GF, but pretty much anything on the menu can be made GF. We had sake, oysters, and the sushi/sashimi platter. Staff made sure I knew that I could not have the salad dressing or the sauce for the oysters, but otherwise I was safe and they had GF soy sauce for me.

My celiac son and I went to this establishment through the gf app recommendation. The food was delicious! But here's our story:
When we arrived I asked if they have gf options. The woman said yes and showed us to our booth. Then we went through the menu and nothing was marked gf nor did they have a gf menu. So we got up and left. We stood outside this establishment to look for another gf restaurant and then the woman came out and informed us that they can make anything gf and that they receive a lot of customers whom are gf. I told her the menu didn't have it. She showed us to our table again and reassured me that they can make anything gf and they do it separately. They said anything that says tempura - they'll steam instead. So we ordered and the food was surprisingly delicious! Yum yum 😁

The waitress was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful about our gluten free needs. The sushi was delicious and not too pricey. They have gluten free soy sauce and while they don’t have a gf menu, they explained they can easily do substitutions to make most menu items gluten free. We will definitely go again.
