Waitress was very nice and knowledgeable about GF items. The fajitas were amazing! The chips and salsa were also safe :)
If you call they will tell you they have gluten free options. When you arrive you are told that they are “glutenfreeish” and if you are sensitive to cross contamination they are not safe! They do not belong here as a GF options!

I’m here right now and I was advised by a manager that if your sensitive you shouldn’t get anything. #disappointed #IWantMyMoneyBack (I paid a head of time and I called ahead)

I thought this was okay. I got the paella and I did not think it was that good.
I ordered on the “gluten free-ish” menu and it might as well just be the regular menu. I ordered the chicken enchiladas and about an hour later I started experiencing symptoms of a reaction. And in the middle of the night I woke up extremely sick and in pain. I am not one to be sensitive to cross contamination or anything at most restaurants so I just have to assume there was actual gluten in my meal.

Knowledgeable staff and great food!

Don't go!!! That place is not safe at all.

I ordered gluten free food and communicated with my waiter but still somehow got sick. Do not recommend!
Yes
Was good mostly safe. Not the best fajitas I have had but good quality stake. I would be careful based on others experiences.
They have a "gluten free ish" menu that includes enchiladas... Ordered the enchiladas off the gluten free ish menu and mid making our table side guacamole the waitress says "oh yeah, the enchiladas are pre rolled in flour tortillas, is that going to be a problem?" SCARY! Thank god she caught it.

This is absolutely NOT Celiac friendly!!! I was assured by the waitress that they would take precautions to not cross-contaminate. I am a very sensitive celiac. I have a handful of places I can go. Unfortunately there is only one way for me to find out if I can go there or not.
The food was good...nothing to rave about. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive.

Dedicated Gluten Free-ish menu. The queso with steak was so good! The veggie enchiladas and pork enchiladas were SO tasty! The cilantro lime rice was great too. No reaction to the chips although they weren't my favorite. Margarita list is impressive.
Chuy, our server seemed totally put out that we were even there AND asking questions about gluten free items. He informed us that nothing was probably gluten free... Dallas location is far superior. Won't go back to the Austin location.
I came with a larger group but split up amongst a few tables. We had the queso and guacamole to start which were great but it was very slow being brought out. The guacamole was made table side. I ordered the chicken enchiladas which were delicious but the ranchero beans were not my thing. Our waitress forgot a few things along the way so I'm wondering if it was just an off day.
This place was great! Nice servers and the gluten free desserts were awesome! Thanks for giving us an awesome option in Austin, Iron Cactus!
Good food, nice gf options! Staff was well informed.

They are working on a printed gluten free menu. I use their on line menu with my phone. My son really enjoyed the fajitas. Chip were good also. waiter was reasonably knowledgeable.
points for having Redbridge. wouldn't eat here.
There are plenty of options. The guacamole was really nice, I liked it tableside so I could add extra things and remove things. The chips are in a dedicated fryer. I then had the blackened fish tacos. Personally I didn’t rate them, they weren’t blackened at all!

Would give zero if I could. My shrimp tacos came out on flour tortillas.
I have a dairy allergy and my beans had cheese on them.
I sent everything back and didn’t eat. Zero trust.

I may have had the best enchiladas ever! Our server wasn’t very knowledgeable concerning gluten. She kept suggesting vegan items. I must have asked enough questions so James (manager) came over to our table and clarified some things. The chips are not cross contaminated, both salsas are fine, any of the bean and rice choices were gf. It was so filling and flavorful. I highly recommend this establishment after much probing.
