Only giving four stars because the waitress who took our order when you walk in at the counter had absolutely no clue if there were any gluten free options or knew anything about their safety protocols. Ultimately, she went back to the kitchen to ask and they told her there are separate fryers, buns, they take precautions etc. but when someone reacts that way at first you are automatically hesitant and nervous. Because of all the great reviews here, we went ahead anyway and got a lobster roll and it was incredible. No reaction so we will definitely be back.

GF fryer - called ahead and person who answered the phone was knowledgeable, as was the counter staff taking orders. My son was very happy to have a hot dog and fries, and the adults enjoyed delicious lobster and a crab roll. Nice bar too and can’t beat the setting!

Great restaurant on the water. Several gf options but not a dedicated fryer which was very sad because they only fry one thing that has gluten in the fryer. I had the lobster roll on a gf bun which was very good and corn on the cob.

My daughter is celiac and extremely sensitive. They took us seriously here and my daughter had no problems. Note that the chef and several others in the kitchen have celiac too. Thank you to the management for keeping people like my daughter safe.

All of the fried items are gluten free in a gluten free fryer!! And they have gf buns and rolls. I asked them not to toast them to avoid any cc

All of their fried food is GF! I had onion rings and the shrimp basket. Delicious and I didn’t react.
