Not for celiacs. The menu from the counter had a warning on it that it's for "gluten sensitive" individuals only that avoid gluten for dietary reasons, and is not intended for those with celiac disease. Tried a gluten free sandwich anyways and the sandwich came wrapped with a sticker also listing the same warning. Nuff said, won't be coming back.

We went and had lunch there today. I had a Tuna sandwich on Udi's bread and it was ok, not bad, but not amazing either. They did have a GF menu, but until I got my sandwich (which had the warning on it) did I know that they didn't really try to offer a GF setting for those with celiac disease or serious sensitivity to gluten. The sticker stated that they and their staff are not trained to handle food for Celiacs or those with sensitivities and that your food will have come in contact with other glutinous foods. Needless to say I was sadly disappointed.

the sandwhiches are great usually anf they do take the precautions by changing gloves and providing chips. the one problem I have is with some of the staff they seem like its a pain to make this order or usually its lack of listening when speaking of the employees taking your order when the order is mixed up they usually do well by starting over but with kind of a "really? is it that big of a deal attitude" which isn't exactly fun to feel like a burden. but otherwise food is great and you can even buy gluten free bread with them full size and soft 11 $ but you get a large sized loaf.

Pretty good. They GF bread isn't crumbly and it tastes great. The only thing is that they forgot to put cheese on my sandwich so it wasn't melted on while toasted. Overall, I enjoyed it and I'll be back.

Stopped in after landing in Salt Lake. They offer a GF bun option. The kid at the counter said he would be careful but I choose to avoid eating there - when in doubt, leave it out. The deli counter is open and used for all sandwiches. Although the bun may be GF and they put on fresh gloves I was too concerned that the meats, cheeses and other condiments must have been contaminated from all of the reaching in all day making sandwiches. If you are a sensitive non-celiac or have celiac I'd recommend avoiding this place.

Great sandwiches and they not only use Udi's bread but also have the full size loaves (not the tiny ones they have at the grocery store) for purchase. This particular location is especially good at trying to avoid cross-contamination and makes your sandwich on its own paper and then wraps it, and they give you bagged potato chips if you order a gluten free sandwich. The upcharge for gluten free bread is very small, I think it was only 50 cents. One if my favorite "safe" lunch places.

I visited Jason's for the first time and am now sick. I asked for the gluten free menu, ordered a build your own chicken salad on gluten fee bread with lettuce. Not knowing what there gluten free bread looked like, I questioned server again as sandwich was brought if it was gluten free bread. Her response was yes, therefore I proceeded to eat, was impressed until I purchases a whole loaf of gluten free bread which turned out to be Udis. That is when I realized that was different than the bread they served me and was eaten. Be careful, so sick right now.

Absolutely amazing. Came from out of state (traveling is always stressful) and found JD on FMGF. Sorry for the long review, but I want to share as much information as possible so everybody can make an informed decision. *We showed up around lunch time on a Saturday and it was PACKED, which I was both glad to see because it meant they had good food and worried because my experience is the busier the place, the lazier/sloppier things can get. I asked for a GF menu while waiting in line and got a laminated menu including a "build your own sandwich" section. I ordered three sandwiches (hot pastrami for lunch, grilled chicken with spinach for dinner, tuna salad for breakfast the next day) *Ordering and preparation: Specified with the cashier that the sandwiches were GF. She asked "Would you like us to change our gloves?" to which I replied "Yes" and saw somebody change their gloves. Amazing. I asked where they prepare gluten free foods. They pointed out a purple plastic briefcase up on a shelf. Inside are designated materials: cutting board, utensils, etc. *The food: My boyfriend's sandwich arrived on a plate with loose chips. Mine arrived wrapped in paper held closed with the "save our butt sticker" (among other things such as where their food gets tested for allergens: "Our GF offerings are designed for those with minor gluten sensitivities or for those who prefer to avoid gluten for nutritional reasons" and not for people with Celiac disease). I'm allergic to wheat/gluten/oats (not sensitive) without Celiac. Eating out is always risky, but this place seems really on top of things. *Lunch My food came with a bag of plain Lays potato chips and a pickle slice sealed in plastic. Sandwich tasted great!! The bread kinda fell apart (which was actually a relief since I could "tell" it was GF). I usually get symptoms immediately but had NONE. Also, after the meal they have FREE soft serve ice cream which is GF! (no cone of course). I took a small plastic cup, wrapped the handle with a napkin, took a few Lactaid pills and dug in to my chocolate/vanilla swirl. ZERO SYMPTOMS. *Dinner Sandwich/bread held up really well (I think it fell apart at lunch because it was moist and hot). Again, tasted amazing! Had grilled chicken with spinach, tomato, and mayo. I'm currently craving it. NO SYMPTOMS WHATSOEVER. *Breakfast Again, sandwich held up great (which I was surprised since it was tuna salad and GF bread) and tasted great. BEWARE EGG ALLERGY: It appears as though there were some big chunks of egg whites which they didn't disclose. Not a problem for me since I'm not allergic to eggs, but for anybody with other allergies, please make sure you tell them! Again, after eating this I had ZERO symptoms. **Overall, had a wonderful experience which made my weekend in NC much more pleasurable. I hope they open more stores and come to NY! (Oh, and my boyfriend's "regular" sandwich was also great =). ) Highly recommend JD!

They gave us a regular hot dog bun when we ordered GF. I didn't know the difference until my autistic son wanted 2 more hot dogs, after he consumed the first. The manager apologized after the error but disappeared after promising to return. my son began to have a headache immediately and soon after went to the restroom. I was hopeful.

They were so nice, answered all of my questions. They use a special knife and a special counter and they use foil before they run it through the toaster. I had a cheese sandwich and the salad bar and am happy to report, no celiac issues at all. I'll definitely be going back there. Oh and on my way out I was able to buy a loaf of the bread they use. It's Udis but it's a huge loaf with actual sandwich sized slices. Thanks Jason's!

I have had very good experiences at this location and it's one of the best places I've found where I feel like I can just eat a semi- normal meal. I will say that while I really enjoyed that on both of my visits that they took my allergy seriously, it was weird to hear " gluten free!! Gluten allergy change your gloves!!" yelled as I walked over to get my salad bowl. My favorite thing has to be that I can actually have the ranch here!! I love ranch on my salad and have really been sad to not be able to enjoy it at most eateries. Plus, while I've only been here twice I have yet to get sick from cross contamination.

I decided to give this place a try even though they warn people that have celiac disease shouldn't rly eat here. I ordered the new York Yankee (gf bread), fire roasted tortilla (soup), and the big chef salad with house ranch. The soup was very good def had a kick to it and I rly like the chips they use will come back just for that ^-^. The sandwich was very good gf bread didn't hold well recommend toasting if possible. It def hit the spot for a sandwich though. I don't make it to the salad my eyes were bigger than my stomach lol but the home made ranch is good. The staff is very helpful and even made me a copy of the gf menu. Over all very happy with this place and will be bringing the wife here to get her opinion.
