Jersey Mike's Subs

This is definitely the best sub shop for Gluten Free sandwiches. The food is so fresh and the sub roll is actually good for a gf roll. Server spent 5 mins wiping everything down before serving me. He and the other staff also changed their gloves and used new knives. I wish they had more locations. This is the second time I’ve been to this chain and I will definitely come back again.

Went here for lunch. Before making my GF sandwich, the person told the girl making my sandwich to clean her space and change her gloves. That was great. I had the ham and provolone on a gf bun and didn't have any problems!

Always great. So much better and fresher than other sub chains that refuse to make gluten free at all. Best sub out there. Very careful with food preparation also.

I read the other reviews here and took a chance. It was Saturday night and busy so I was a little nervous. They changed gloves, put paper on the counter before opening the Udi's hero bread, got a clean knife from the back and wiped down the cold cut slicer. I had turkey, provolone, bacon and mayo. It felt so good to be able to have a deli hero again! It's been many hours and I feel great. I have Celiac Disease and have severe reactions to gluten, so I know I'd already be feeling it. Highly recommend Jersey Mike's!!!

They have udi sub rolls. They serve went above and beyond to avoid cross contamination by making my sub with meats and veggies from the back not near any bread. Very impressed with the knowledge of the staff.

This restaurant is in Mohegan and started offering gf bread for subs. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and it was good. The bread was clearly Udis brand because it has the same texture as their sliced bread. It falls apart really easy. Maybe toasting it would help? But at least they have gf options!

$2.50 extra for gluten-free bread. Sandwiches are good. They were pretty good with precautions. Still, if I were super sensitive, I’d be worried about the amount of wheat flour crumbs floating around.

Service took a while. I ordered ahead of time even. I waited around 15 minutes once I arrived and was told it would take longer because of my allergy. Overall bread was hard and fell apart while eating it.

I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to get a gf sub. They asked allergy or preference, wiped down the counter, put down paper, used a clean knife, changed gloves, and were cool about grabbing toppings from the back. They even moved the sandwich to fresh paper at the end of the line instead of wrapping in the paper that had sat on crumbs. Altogether I was impressed! At most locations I have to correct things as I go down the line, but the two staff who interacted with me here seemed very well trained on gf protocols.

They ask if you have an allergy or preference when it comes to the gluten free bread. After stating I have an allergy they cleaned the slicer, the counter, and all of the staff switched gloves. A new employee had accidentally used the mayo knife so they gave me new bread and then they use the squeeze bottle of mayo to prevent cross contamination. Everyone was very friendly, understanding, and aware of how to handle my allergy.

Amazing processes and protocols for safe handling of gluten free sandwiches to avoid cross contact. They explained their protocol to me without me prompting or asking any leading questions, showing me that know how to prevent cross contact.
