Do not trust this place! I was looking forward to eating here but when I mentioned I had celiac, the owner said the fryers were 100% GF but our waitress later whispered to me that they had definitely seen gluten go into the fryer! I’m grateful to the waitress for being honest.

The main menu is clearly marked which items are GF. The entire restaurant uses GF soy sauce which is great. However, even if an item is marked as GF, still ask the manager or chef. We went once and my daughter had an item that was labeled GF but they put it in a shared fryer and she had a very bad reaction. Unfortunately, that was early in her diagnosis and now we know to ask about the fryer. But we went back a second time and spoke to the owner whose son has peanut allergies so he was very aware of cross contact. He went through the menu and told me which GF items were the safest and which ones could have cross contact. Some items are labeled GF but it came with a side of an item that was gluten containing. So as long as you ask the staff to clarify which items really are safe you will be ok. Once you know what to order the food is delicious and we will order those same items again and again.

Excellent food! And I do feel confident staff are trained. BUT check with your server about each item as another commenter mentioned. If ordering online, call to check your items. I had a reaction after ordering once. Called to check the items I ordered and found out they mix the fryers on busy nights. They're aware it's an issue and tell the servers in the restaurant to let all customers know, but if you order online, you have no way of knowing. As long as you're careful, I highly recommend though!

Staff is very knowledgeable and food is always SO gooood! Love the GF dumplings, soup and noodle dishes. Could eat here everyday!

Lots of gluten free items listed on the menu made this a very exciting prospect! Unfortunately, you have to be very diligent about asking about every single item on your plate when it comes to the table, even if you make sure to make it clear in advance that you need the items to be gluten free.

I ordered the gf dumpling appetizer, which came with a bowl of sauce that was not gluten free. For my main meal, I ordered the GF Galbi Platter, which comes with rice, soup/salad, and banchan sampler. One of the items on my banchan sampler was NOT GF. Sadly, I did not discover this until after I had taken a bite and was concerned that it wasn't GF. When we asked the waitress, she confirmed that it was not GF. She had said the dumpling sauce was not GF, so I had thought she would have mentioned that the banchan item as not as well. A better option, of course, would be for them not to include a non- gf item in a GF platter in the first place. Overall, I would eat here again, but will definitely question every item that comes to the table.

First Korean-style restaurant I've been able to eat at!

I've been glutened by gochujang before, so I was skeptical that I'd be able to eat here. I probably asked the guy 5 times if he was sure the gochujang was gluten free. He was sure.

It was delicious and I didn't get sick, and I'm very sensitive to cross contamination.

This was the first place as celiac that I did not get sick from. Staff is very knowledgeable and careful with cross contamination. One of the best meals i’ve had in a while!

This is an excellent place for gf Asian food. The menu is well marked and has an enormous selection for gf.
