Been to several all over town and they have a consistent standard. They do serve molletes and pan dulce but almost no one gets those so I’ve never had cc in about 10-15 visits. Sopes, flautas, tostadas, enchiladas, enfrijoladas, pozole all good.

La casa de Toño is a chain of great basic Mexican food and my favorite place. I actually ate at one of 2 places in the Zona Rosa Went there for first time as celiac and realized it is basically completely Gluten free as there is only corn tortillas ( no flour) and while there is bread it is totally separate and not fried. So basically they have dedicated fryers. Although I had all of my food from the grill. Pozzole made with hominy (corn) is my favorite soup!

This was a great place that a few different people in CDMX recommended. I have celiac disease and always get nervous when I travel and eat in new places. The chips are naturally gluten free. And I had 3 different types of sopes. My recommendation is to get them without the bistec because the steak is large and hard to chew in bites for a sope. The picadillo is different than I’m used to in Texas. But the food is good, plenty of gluten free options, nice atmosphere, the food came out fast, and great prices!
