My friend and I, both celiac, went there although we read some bad comments on Google according to the high service charge. Unfortunately we were also dissapointed. They had an extra gluten free menu but after we ordered the gf Pizza, the waitress came back to us saying that there was no more gf dough left. So we decided to take the Tagliata which comes with Ruccola but you had to order side dishes extra. The potatoes we chose were overcooked and the grilled vegetables were a joke. Very thin sliced, dry and cold. When I complained that they were cold, the waitress apologized took the plate and brought the same vegetables back even more dry and some burned. The meat was also not very tender with a lot of sinews. We didn't want to try anymore desserts and left quickly.

Celiac safe, but the food is not very good. Probably the worst meal I ate over 10 days in Italy. We ordered the carciofi 3 ways (all undercooked), carbonara (way too much oil and salt), potatoes (way too much salt), cicoria (way too much oil and too little salt). There are so many celiac safe options in Italy that I would recommend finding somewhere else!

They had a separate GF menu with the AIC logo, though its in Italian so you have to use a regular menu to translate.
Food was good enough, warm and safe. I got pasta in a red sauce, and it came out with a GF stick. My companion got gluten pasta and said it was quite salty.
We got GF tiramisu which was good.

The gluten free bread was delicious! I enjoyed dipping the GF bread in oil while my husband had his separate regular bread. Both the bread and my carbonara came out clearly marked gluten free. I would definitely go back!

The pasta was good, but the carbonara-sauce was OK, not the best, almost tasted like store-bought. The staff was not super friendly, and didn’t remember what we ordered. The normal(not gf) pasta was not cooked right, not even al dente, and the bolognese sauce was flavorless. Overall not the best experience, so many better places here in Rome. They had a lot of options, which was good, but not sure if I would want to try them after this experience.

I had a great experience! They have a separate gluten-free menu you just have to ask for it. Basically everything can be made gluten-free. I had some bruschetta and pasta and both were great. Definitely recommend! 🌞😄

Don't go. We ordered a gluten free pizza. Pizza was bad, base was note properly cookies and like pre-made, tomato sauce was líquid. Plus they charges extra 1,5€ per person plus extra 10% for service fee. Final amount was like if we had an extra person eating! Over all a bad experience for coeliac people.

Food is OK.
Lasagne is home made and can not be GF other can (they say).
Service is -3 (not so friendly, waiting time is pretty long...).
They charge 16 euro for 3 person for service which is too much even for Rome (by our experience).
Been, and try...if you don t have other option it is OK, but in Rome there are a lot of better GF restaurants in terms of food and service

I’m sure the food is nice but we sat down and didn’t get served for 20 minutes. I asked the waiter if you have to order food inside but he told me to be patient. Very rude so we waited another 10 minutes then left. 30 minutes no service.

Went last night for dinner. They charged us and extra service fee of 20% on top of the normal service fee. They “normal” pizza which my partner had was good but my carbonara was not great. The pasta was barely cooked “still chewy” and it didn’t really have much bacon in. The portion of the pasta was also very small, I was finished before my partner had eaten half of his pizza.

Service was adorable and they can explain what if gf or what is available in gf (even mozzarella fried miammm). They are very aware of cross contamination. The chief recommended not to take pizze because the dough is not homemade, but the gf pasta are made in the restaurant. Nice cottage vibe. Wide choice of wines (and very good gf beer available also).

It was amazing. La Gallina Bianca was my first experience with a gluten free Pizza after I got my celiac diagnose. I was pretty nervous, but the stuff was so helpful and interested. The Pizza and the salat were great and the wine delicious. The restaurant was completely full so I would recommend to book a table.

Un menu sans gluten très variés. Il est écrit en italien. J'ai demandé du miel pour mes oignons français et de la sauce marinara pour ma croûte foccacia et je n'ai pas eu de surcharge. De plus, leur tiramisu est un délice.

I ordered the glutenfree Summer pizza. The toppings were really good, but half of the crust was burnt to a crisp, inedible. My friend ordered the glutenfree carbonara, it was not anywhere near al dente, very hard to chew, and less and less cooked. No service, tried to make contact with the waiter for a while. Did not ask if we wanted more to drink, or even came over to ask if all was good (even though our 4 glasses were all empty). They removed the service free from our check. Not worth it at all.

A bit of a dissapointment. Read some good reviews, but had a totally different experience. They have a gluten free menu and a lot op gluten free options (almost everything can be made gluten free). Unfortunately the staff was occupied with everything, except for us. We ordered a cheese platter, a tartare and a gluten free focaccia. The cheese platter was overpriced for the amount of food we had. The focaccia was too crispy and dry, seems pre-bought and we couldn’t cut it with a knife. The toppings were quite good, but fell off the focaccia because of this. Only the tartate was very good.

Ordered a gluten-free classic Carbonara, took very long before I got the food even though there wasn’t many guests. The carbonara was creamy but rather tasteless, could have been more Parmesan and salt to enhance the taste. Overall disappointing☹

Delicious GF pizza! The ingredients are so fresh and the flavor is amazing! Pizzas are cooked in a wood burning stove, this place is as authentic as it gets and the staff were so hospitable. We will likely go back before our vacation in Rome ends. If you are in the area and looking for pizza this is a perfect spot! (There's plenty of other gf options but we only ordered pizza.)
