I do NOT recommend. I don’t even recommend for people that don’t have to concern themselves with dietary restrictions. Prices were high and food was mediocre, at best. The service was very poor, though she was sweet. She forgot requests multiple times, from drinks to salads to to go boxes, and more. I called the restaurant days prior to see if there was a GF menu. I spoke with the manager (a manager?) and was assured they are well versed in gluten restricted dietary needs. He emailed the GF menu to me and it looked ok, so we gave it a shot. Once there, I reminded the waitress upon arrival, then when I ordered and ask that she write it on the ticket. I saw her write it in there and when my plate came out, it have a huge portion of “dirty rice” on it. I asked if she was sure that this was gf because I saw white rice as my option on their gf menu. She said she double checked with the manager and they said it was safe. I said it wasn’t listed on the gf menu and she said she’d check again. She then came back and said she asked the chef and it was NOT gluten free. She said she would take it back and they would redo my meal with white rice. Thankfully, the salmon was served on a cedar plank, where nothing else was touching it, so I just kept the salmon and told her not to bother with redoing anything. Had I not been so persistent, I would’ve been sick for hours after. I find that incredibly upsetting. I couldn’t have been more cautious and clear. My recommendation for the New Orleans area is Redfish on Bourbon Street. It was amazing, full of flavor, great atmosphere, top notch service.

Amazing service. Manager Laura-Lee took my order and assured me that all my food items would be cooked in a separate pans to eliminate chances of cross contamination. Our server, Hector was amazing as well. Never felt safer in a restaurant. Thank you!

They had a separate gluten sensitivity menu with statement to notify the manager. The server didn’t seem very knowledgeable but I talked to the chef before I got there and they came out to check on my meal. I felt the staff were responsive and if the server didn’t know she found out.

So for years Landry’s has been our go to ! I am celiac but to night we went to happy hour like I have been doing for 7 years! Birthdays, anniversary’s, gatherings, with friends and families! We love to go to happy hour have drinks and appetizers it was a great deal then often move to dinner!! We have been a huge fan of Kay! From bartender to party manager! She has been there for me with all my food allergies! But tonight friends met us at Landry’s for happy hour and I was told both managers reported there was nothing I could eat! I could order from the regular menu and have shrimp kababs… I’m allergic to shrimp! So my friends ate appetizers while I had nothing to eat!!

We enjoyed our meal at Landry's. My wife has Ceeliac disease and was able to enjoy a delicious piece of salmon with baked potato. The waitress explained options well and checked with the kitchen when she wasn't sure. There were good pan-fried and sautéed seafood options as well as a fair veg selection. This place was a good choice for us.
