The server was helpful and knowledgeable and asked the chef if she didn’t know. Most of the appetizers could not be gluten free, even the soup, as they said ingredients were fried in a shared fryer or otherwise cross contaminated. I skipped apps and got the brown butter shrimp. It was not all that great. I was expecting a butter sage sauce based on the description. Instead it was in a white cream sauce that was incredibly tart and otherwise lacking flavor. The butternut squash “noodles” were basically raw and very bitter. The shrimp were tiny (like popcorn shrimp) and the overall size of the entree was small. Crème brûlée was the dessert special and that was very tasty.

Not a separate GF menu, but the server was very knowledgeable about what was GF and what could be modified. I had a local crudo for appetizer with rice chip. For entree, I had pan fried cornmeal encrusted catfish with Carolina caviar with farro and mashed potatoes for sides. Truly one of the best Charleston meals I have ever eaten.

We stopped in on a busy evening and sat at the bar. The help was very knowledgeable and had lots of suggestions. Our dinner was excellent, we will definitely return.
