I ordered a GF, NO CHEESE pepperoni pizza. Sick, as a dog tonight. So disappointing. I wish I read the reviews here first, but Mellow Mushroom was a trusted safe place for me🥺🤢 Not celiac safe!

I went here on a trip to Charleston. I never eat pizza out. Not sure why I wavered but ordered the gluten free veg out. I did not get horribly sick but definitely got some contamination. Luckily not bad enough to ruin the next day.

I became violently ill after eating here and they assured me they made, cooked, and cut their gluten free pizzas in a separate area from their regular pizzas. I will absolutely never return, SO not worth it.

I have eaten here many times without problems however last weekend I immediately got sick! Headache within the hour and digestive problems kept me out of work this week. Cross contamination from toppings or sauce? Sad I can’t trust it anymore.

It is very celiac disease friendly! It tastes amazing and I have not gotten sick once!
Yes
Have a separate area for gluten free pizza crust. Have never had a problem eating here .

I have to commend MM for their GF policy (written on their menu along with the GF options they offer). My daughter has celiac and is very sensitive, and she's never had a reaction after eating here.

They have changed their policy since a couple years ago. I am not gluten free my fiancee is. And I am now an advocate for celiac because of him. They took very good care of him. They clean their hands, change their apron, and prepared it safely. Also the oven has a spot where all the gluten free go. It is cheaper if you just get a gluten free cheese and add like one topping. Four stars because one waitress just was rather rude one day and didn't even care to read the dining card and brought our salad with crackers in it -.-..

Do NOT eat here!! They take advantage of those with food allergies! While they have a great gluten-free pizza menu, they do not include prices. I found out at checkout that a single serving gluten-free pizza is $19.47 - for a single size pizza!! If they listed the price on the menu, I would be amazed by the price but by not listing it, they are clearly gouging those of us who have allergies. Stay far, far away!

DO NOT go to the Mt. Pleasant location. Service was terrible, I was with a group and the only one gluten free. I told the waitress 4 times that I was gluten free, and said gluten free again when I ordered. I got a regular pizza, it took an hour to get me a new one. Horrible service! the waitress argued with me that I never told her, Thankfully the 6 other people at my table all heard me tell her and heard her acknowledge me saying so. Save your tummy and time, go downtown.
I ordered the 12inch gluten free pizza without cheese, caramelized onions, black olives and mushrooms. The pizza was ok and not my favorite dough made from sorghum, amaranth, teff and tapioca flour blend plus xanthum gum as it was a bit chewy. The Angry Orchard cider was good and the service was good too.

Went here with my GF kiddo. The staff was very friendly. Let the server know about the celiac. Told us which of the pizzas were GF. Kiddo decided on plain cheese. We were told they changed gloves, separate oven, etc., for gf. Good experience!
