My last experience was awesome! They recognize me now and came over to check that I still wanted my meal gluten-free. (I had spaced out when ordering.) the fact they remembered me, in a mask, and came to my table to verify my order was above and beyond, yet entirely what I expected from the customer service here!

All the meats are gluten free. And all but 1 of the sauces are GF too. Staff knowledgeable and helpful. Fries are in a dedicated fryer. No GF buns, but can get the meat over a salad. Delicious and family all enjoyed their food as well. The kids couldn’t stop talking about how good it was, so we even went back a week later when we were in DC again.

I was hoping to give a 5 star review because the staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately after a good ordering experience we found a huge hunk of cornbread in our gluten free pulled pork 😭 Not safe for my celiac daughter and makes me feel skeptical about ever being able to eat out safely after her recent diagnosis. I hope this was an isolated incident but felt I should really share this experience.

This is one of our go-to restaurants. The staff is knowledgeable and is very good about taking precautions. They have a very large gluten free menu, but one time I accidentally ordered a seasonal item thinking it was safe (it wasn’t). A manager came to my table immediately before we started eating, informed me it wasn’t safe, and brought me a different side item. We feel 100% comfortable eating there.

Delicious! Have a gluten free sheet but was able to get any meat, all but one sauce, fries and green beans!

Staff is knowledgeable of allergies and yells back to the kitchen when a gluten free order comes through. Most items on the menu are gluten free.

We LOVE Mission BBQ! I am (nearly) embarrassed to say we go there almost every week. The majority of their menu is gluten free. They have a gf menu at the register, and the staff is knowledgable. We have never gotten sick at any of the locations we have gone to (Stafford, Woodbridge, Alexandria) and the numerous gf and not gf friends and family members we have taken there have all raved about it.

I asked for a GF menu and was immediately given one. Food was delicious!!! My only complaint is that the fact that my meal was GF possibly wasn't communicated to the kitchen, and a piece of cornbread was on my plate. It wasn't touching my other food, so I moved it off. All on all, I can highly recommend this restaurant!

Not a great experience at this location. Placed corn bread on my plate, and when they discovered what they did the employee palmed the pulled pork on to another plate after handling buns for sandwiches!!!

Fantastic! They have knowledgeable staff about celiac and a gluten free menu. Most everything is gluten free including most of the sides and sauces.
