Sadly there was no dedicated fryer as mentioned in another review. Maybe it was discontinued? This drastically limited the menu options. The strawberry feta salad was however amazing. Our server was unfriendly and knew very little about gluten free. Our kids found the nachos “strange” and said I should label the restaurant not kid friendly although they loved their craft root beers. (The kids are dairy free only; the chips come from the shared fryer so not celiac safe). Great place for dairy-free and vegan, not so much for gf. All in all fun to try but we won’t be returning.

I love this place. It’s a vegan restaurant that has flavorful and filling entrees and has many gluten free options. The fries are fantastic, but make sure you let them know about a gluten allergy. They do have a separate fryer for GF, but sounds like they use it only if you notify/request it. I wish they had more options (like a burger) that didn’t include seitan, because that limits the GF menu, but I always go for the “Mac and shooms” anyway. Oh and their GF cauliflower “wings” are amazing!!

The food was delicious. Several menu items were marked gluten free and we didn’t have any reactions. We’re also dairy free and it was nice to not have to worry about getting sick.

The server I had was not very knowledgeable about a "gluten allergy" as I call it to servers. She did report that the fryer that is normally dedicated gluten-free was broken so they did not have any gluten-free fried options at the time. I did have to send my food back a couple times because it was not communicated very well so they kitchen the need to be 100% gluten free. The food was good and there were a lot of vegan and vegetarian options which I thought was great, but my confidence level in food being gluten-free is quite low due to me needing to send back my food multiple times. Be cautious and ask lots of questions! 😊

Had the mac and shews for dinner, very tasty and gf right off the menu.

Got the shishito peppers for an appetizer, didn't realize it was a bowl of just peppers. I wouldn't really recommend that unless there's like 6 of you or you love eating peppers.

Friend got the nachos with the chips from the dedicated fryer so I could try some and they were good as well.

Waiter was helpful and friendly. Online menu says they have a burns brothers(?) gf beer but when I was there they didn't have that and had a greens quest instead.

All of my servers have been excellent. The food is amazing and there are always gluten free options, including pie! I usually get the Mac and Shews, it's my favorite. I've been going here since it opened. It's one of my favorite restaurants in the country. Everything on the menu is easy to understand with a little (gf) by the options that are safe to eat. I've never been sick between my numerous visits and to go orders.

Now that McFosters is gone, this is the best place in Omaha to eat GF and vegan. Seriously delicious on so many levels! There aren't that many tables so call to make a reservation on the weekends

Amazing food. For a vegetarian foodie with celiac this is heaven. Lots of options, include two GF pies for dessert!!! Had the Mac and cheese, which was creamy and flavorful with cauliflower on top. My non-GF friends were raving about their entrees too, even the meat eaters. I would eat here every day if I didn't live in California.

GREAT new GF find for me in Omaha. Had a nice selection for GF. Their chips are not, but they said I could bring in my own. Note-the salsa/chips are not complimentary, but worth the price to get them. The Charred Pineapple is spicy good!!!! Oh, and the house margarita is good too :)
