Staff was not knowledgeable regarding Celiac and were unfortunately very rude.

We eat here all the time, and never have had a reaction. The food is awesome and strangely addicting. Love the guacamole and margaritas!

Always attentive to needs avoiding cross contamination. Owner worked with national Celiac Foundation to set up menu. Dedicated fryer. Food is great and reasonably priced.

The quality of food and service here used to be great, but started going downhill over the past five years. The food is hit or miss, but when it's a hit it's great. Best guacamole I've had. Menu is clearly marked.

We went for cinco de Mayo, and got there around 8:30 and online it said they closed at 9:30. The woman working the counter was rude and told us they close at 9 and “to be respectful of that”, understandably they had a long day ok. The closer to 9 it got the more rude she got with patrons, until someone corrected her.
When placing my order I started off by saying I need everything I order gluten free because I have celiac disease, she had no idea what that meant and looked at me like I was from Mars. After she entered in my order the owners son came over, and said “you said gluten free right?” And he had to call his mom over (the owner) to fix it, otherwise my food would’ve been wrong. If you go, I would suggest ordering directly with the owner or her sons.
When our food came out, the chips were very stale. The queso was delicious, the margaritas were out of this world, and the rice was good. Their food is definitely more authentic than Americanized (like tequilas or fuzzys). I found them recommended in a celiac group and the post was specifically asking for kid friendly places. I would not say this was very kid friendly. Tons of onions in everything. We drove 35 minutes just to eat here, not sure I would be back. If I did I would just get a marg, chips, queso, and a side of rice.
A few hours after eating I developed a headache, a stomachache, and some joint pain. Not sure if it was cross contaminated with gluten or not.

My son with Celiac ate at Nacho Mamas Saturday night. I called and spoke with a manager that morning and felt good about the procedures in place to avoid cross contamination. My son told the person taking his order he had Celiac and she noted everything on his order. His chips and cheese came out separately from his fajitas. When he picked up his order he re confirmed everything was gluten free. Then when he sat down he decided to double check on his fajitas since they came out separately so he asked again and was reassured it was all GF. He was glutened and was sick the rest of the night. I called and spoke to the manager when they reopened Monday morning- while they eventually apologized it wasn’t sincere. They put the blame on my teenage son stating that he should know if the tortillas are white they are flour and if yellow they are corn. Well we only buy the white corn tortillas so why would he assume that after he ordered correctly and then doubled check twice with the staff members that he was in fact given gluten tortillas. We will not be giving them another chance and just wanted inform others of our experience.

I have been coming here for years, even before I had to eat GF. I wish I didn't like the food so much, b/c the owners have been rude to me or someone I'm with more times than I can count. But the food is tasty, even if a bit overpriced for what it is, and you can order alot on corn tortillas. As for celiac awareness, I don't even bother to specify.

I eat here at least once a week. It is my go to gluten free place. You do need to be careful when mixing gluten free and non-gluten free items on the same order, they will sometimes plate them together.
Yes
The people taking the order weren't the most familiar with gluten free options. However the Chef was very kind to explain options. Dedicated fryer for chips and shells. Tasty!

Have been there twice, most of menu is GF. They also have a gf fryer. One of my few trusted place to eat out.
TERRIBLE experience here. I live out of town and come here every time I'm in town. I drove 25min to pick up my food, ordered and told them it all most be gf multiple times. got home to discover that they made it all with wheat tortillas. they refused to refund my money, and kept giving me a line if being a "small family business". evidently a small family business without customer service.

Amazing, amazing food! Never had a reaction! I just wish they would loose the styrofoam containers!!!! For that reason, I've given them three stars.
My very favorite place to eat gluten free!!! Food is GREAT!!! People are helpful and friendly!!! Love it! Love it! Love it!!!

Last time eating here I got sick due to cross contamination. I actually asked them to make me another dish since the first one had my wife's flour shell laying over my dish. It has great potential but if cross contamination is not understood than unfortunately customers like me cannot dine here.

Great chips and queso!
Good food!
The gluten free menu is right on the board, very easy to see and understand. Eat there on a weekly basis and I have never had a problem.
